This resource will spend a large percentage of their time working on engineering automation (design automation) to streamline our front end systems and field interaction tools. Focus being Bid Manager & front end software development engineer. Bid Manager is an online and Windows application that is used for configuring and quoting assembled products and project business in Eaton. This position is responsible for maintaining and evaluating engineering systems/results as needed and recommending/implementing corrective system actions to drive quality improvement. This includes defining requirements, acceptance testing, scheduling of training and rollout, documenting specific plant processes, and first level support. This position is expected to have a detailed knowledge of systems and processes utilized in the front end team for relaying of information to field/manufacturing.
