Supervises tower operators and participates in the control of harbor traffic for the safe and timely movement of waterborne traffic in and out of Honolulu harbor, and the docking, undocking and shifting of vessels within the harbor; the dispatching of pilot boats, harbor police and others; the maintenance of contracts with shipping agents, governmental agencies and others; the maintenance of records and logs; performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Specialized Experience: One (1) year of work experience which involved the clearance of ship movement in and about a commercial harbor, and which demonstrated knowledge of maritime regulations applicable to harbor operations, methods of signaling by lights, flags and other means, and the operation of radio and other communications equipment.
General Experience: Two (2) years of experience which demonstrated that the applicant possesses the following abilities:
- Meet and deal effectively with people.
- Understand and apply various rules and regulations.
- Prepare reports.
- Act effectively in emergencies.
Supervisory Aptitude: Applicants must possess supervisory aptitude. Supervisory aptitude is the demonstration of aptitude or potential for the performance of supervisory duties through successful completion of regular or special assignments which involve some supervisory responsibilities or aspects of supervision, e.g., by serving as a group or team leader; or in similar work in which opportunities for demonstrating supervisory capabilities exist; or by the completion of training courses in supervision accompanied by application of supervisory skills in work assignments; and/or by favorable appraisals by a supervisor indication the possession of supervisory potential.
Federal Criminal History Records Check (TWIC):
In accordance with Federal regulations, persons who are being considered for employment in positions which require unescorted access to secured areas at the harbor must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint-based criminal history record check. In order to be granted the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) clearance, prospective employees must not have been convicted, or found "not guilty by reason of insanity," of a disqualifying criminal offense within seven years from the date of appointment.
Upon recommendation for hire, prospective employees will be required to successfully undergo the fingerprint-based criminal history record check and be found free of disqualifying convictions during the preceding seven years. The cost for the records check will be the applicant's responsibility. However, upon hire, the employee will be reimbursed provided he/she submit the TWIC receipt to his/her supervisor.

The Photo Studio Traffic Manager is responsible for coordinating workflow and timing for all location and in house photoshoots. This individual would facilitate keeping multiple partners on target for planning, budget, and execution. Daily partners include creative and strategy marketing team as well as outside production companies. Occasionally this person would be required to help coordinate resources on an as need basis for project support. Additionally this position coordinates calendar, meetings, and check points required for all photoshoots. This individual would be responsible for ensuring each team member has a clear understanding of what work needs to be accomplished and when it is due including support of the Executive Creative Leader for casting requirements.
What will you be doing?
Create and manage calendars supporting all photoshoot planning and execution.
Manage relationships with outside production partners.
Keep all parties aware and on target to budgets.
Communicate with team leads frequently to confirm they are meeting planned deadlines.
Communicate with cross-functional partners to help resolve issues that are holding teams up (missing samples, missing direction, select approvals, etc.).
Schedule and run photoshoot planning meetings.
Manage weekly PRF request to drive efficiency in photoshoot process.
Identify bottlenecks before they happen, notifying key team leads and coordinating freelance resources as needed.
Facilitate timely communication between busy team members.
Identify obstacles and seek resolution to impact work stream across teams.
Help team leads see process opportunities.
What will you need to bring?
Working knowledge of photoshoot planning and budgeting.
6-8 years' experience preferred
Must be positive, work well with other, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be highly organized and process oriented, while diplomatic.
Strong independent contributor with communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Some travel may be required.

Senior Associate, Creative Traffic Manager
The Brand Creative department is looking for a seasoned marketing or creative project or traffic manager to join our team as Creative Traffic Manager. This person will play a key role in developing and implementing processes and tools that make creative teams more efficient, and seeing projects through from intake to completion. This person will also work closely with line of business partners, ensuring they receive clear and timely communications and have a positive experience.
Work closely with Creative Director & Product Owners on incoming projects for your business lane
Work closely with Creative Director on each new project to understand what it takes to get the job done
Set up and manage all project-related meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are represented, meeting goals are met and outcomes are logged
Develop project plan for each project, creating appropriate tasks and milestones in the PM system
Track timelines and critical paths for multiple projects concurrently
Ensure that tasks are being completed and marked appropriately in the system
Remove impediments that prevent a team from completing the work
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders
The person will:

Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 5 years of Project, Process or Traffic Management experience in a Marketing or Advertising agency
At least 1 year of Project Management Software experience (Asana, WorkFront or Wrike)
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodology
