At Facility Solutions Group, our Utility Services Team provides a one stop solution for management and execution of rebate programs and national energy retrofit roll outs. Our vertically integrated business model consolidates costs, increases efficiency, scales operations easily and quickly, and delivers projects on time and on budget.
We work with both utility companies and program administrators that offer rebate programs, and the consumers who will benefit from those incentives. Green Solutions, our online web solution, makes it easier for utility companies to offer energy savings solutions to their customers who adopt newer, more efficient technology and state of the art products. We provide a consistent, auditable and scalable solution.
Service Sales Manager
Service Sales Manager Department: Service Department Reports to: President Position Purpose: Driving revenue and margin growth through direct sales and sales management activities, this role will manage, train and coach Service Division sales staff, and will also be responsible for development of new business through acquisition of new customers. They will assist with development of business plans, goals and budgets, as well as their execution. This position has direct supervision of Service Division sales staff, and is responsible for hiring and development of that staff, as well as disciplinary action, including termination, when necessary. Job Functions and Duties Direct Sales duties (approximately 50% of time):
Builds strong, multi-level relationships with customers and is viewed as a solid business partner by identifying needs, creating solutions, and closing sales
Identifies and captures new market and customer opportunities
Identifies additional opportunities with existing customers
Converts opportunities to sales by leveraging the ASEI/Comfort Systems sales process
Consistently uses available tools and software to maintain information and develop new opportunities
While focusing on direct sales of maintenance agreements, also coordinates on sales of full suite of ASEI’s offerings as indicated.
Gathers customer feedback and shares information with team and management as indicated Management duties (approximately 50% of time):
Maintains competitive intelligence and reports changes/issues in competitive landscape to management
Provide feedback on pricing, as well as sales systems and tools
Review all sales quotes and proposals, ensuring company standards and goals are met
Analyzes department-wide sales activity and pipelines and provides business forecasts using CRM
Provides training, coaching and mentoring to Service Division sales staff (and other company staff as directed) through
Regular one-on-one meetings
Sales activity and pipeline review
Group and individual training
Field observation and coaching (ride-a-longs)
Other activities as indicated
Partner with Service Operations leadership to ensure successful customer onboarding, ongoing customer satisfaction and retention, and overall Service Department success.

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Minimum of five+ years related, successful sales experience
Minimum of two+ years related, successful sales management experience (preferred)
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Abilities:
Familiarity with HVAC principles and technical applications
Read, analyze, and interpret information, including blueprints, drawings, equipment specifications, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external clients
Use tools and software including spreadsheets, MS Office applications, CRM software, etc.
Ability to identify customer’s needs and translate into sales opportunities
Business and financial acumen to understand customers’ needs, relationship potential and profitability
Problem solving skills
Adapt to individual and team work environments
