The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
-Cloud Experience: Shall have three (3) years demonstrated work experience with distributed scalable Big Data Store (NoSQL) such as Hbase, CloudBase/Accumulo, Big Table, etc.; Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Map Reduce programming model and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Pig, etc.; Shall have demonstrated work experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS); Shall have demonstrated work experience with Serialization such as JSON and/or BSON

FHA MAP Underwriter
- Deal Structuring: The Underwriter should understand the use of FHA with LIHTC equity, tax-exempt bond financing, and subordinate financing.
- Economic Feasibility Analysis: This includes all components of net operating income (NOI), proposed cost estimates and anticipated lease-up, as applicable. Candidate should have a working knowledge of affordable housing programs including LIHTC, HOME, RAD, HAP contracts and vouchers, ability to research and understand other federal and state programs and apply appropriately to FHA MAP lending guidelines. In addition, the underwriter should be able to understand and apply guidelines related to tax abatement programs and ground leases typical in the affordable housing arena.
- Market Analysis: Underwriter should have ability to review Market Studies and data derived from other research and source material to ensure sufficient demand and supportable rents to project NOI.
- Appraisal Analysis and Review: The Underwriter will participate in the process of selecting and working with approved third-party appraisers. They will be responsible for review of the appraisal and related forms and for working with the appraiser to develop an accurate final appraisal.
- PCNA/AEC Review/Environmental: The Underwriter will participate in the selection process and work with the third-party toward a final product that meets all HUD guidelines and accurately reflects the transaction.
- Mortgage Credit Analysis: Utilizing HUD application documents and other Bank information, Underwriter must be able to analyze credit documentation, including REO schedules, to determine ownership structure and Active Principals, credit worthiness as well as capacity issues and other risks/mitigates to HUD and BANA. The Underwriter should understand the analysis required of LIHTC investors in affordable transactions as well as how to analyze non-profit financial statements and review non-profits.
- Underwriter’s Narrative, Site Visit, Concept Meeting and HUD Forms: Underwriter is responsible, in conjunction with other team members, for completing the Underwriter’s Narrative and required HUD forms pursuant to HUD guidelines. Underwriter is also responsible for conducting the site inspection and if applicable, preparing a concept meeting package and attending concept meeting with Borrower.
- Primary contact for HUD on a transaction basis: The Underwriter will serve as the primary HUD contact maintaining a positive relationship throughout.
- Facilitate Closing, as needed: Work closely with third-party closer/servicer, attorneys and HUD to facilitate closing.
- Serve as a resource/expert on FHA financing to CDB and other Bank associates
- Participate in creating and presenting training sessions for CDB associates
- Provide input/ideas on FHA policies and procedures in the spirit of on-going process and customer service improvement
- Provide input and assist in the development of forms, templates on an as-needed basis
- Participate in meetings with CDB associates, clients and prospective borrowers
- Attend internal and external conferences and meetings

This position creates and revises county and municipal planimetric maps produced by the Geographic Information and Mapping Section using computer mapping software and cartographic techniques to provide accurate and current map information support for the agency's transportation planning, design, construction and maintenance functions. Job Description: The Motorist Assist Patrol Lead Operator performs the same function as an operator, except acts in a supervisory capacity as assigned by the Manager.
MAP Operator Duties:
The Motorist Assist Patrol (MAP) Operator provides safe, quick clearance of incidents that affect traffic, including vehicle accidents and disabled vehicles. The primary purpose of the MAP is to ensure State Highways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public. To ensure safety, MAP Operators wear highly visible, reflective uniforms and drive specially marked vehicles when assisting motorists and emergency first responders.
Upon successful completion of classroom and field training, the MAP Operator will be certified as a first responder to operate a fully equipped Motorist Assistance Vehicle. CPR / First Aid training is provided to enable the MAP Operator to provide basic first aid until emergency services arrive when necessary. Specific duties include but not limited to:
Monitor State Highways with regard to vehicle crashes, disabled/abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events, traffic signal malfunctions, damage to state equipment on state roadways, as well as general incident/congestion scenarios.
Provides roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing debris from the travel lanes, etc.)
Work closely with Police and other first responders at highway incidents.
Provide incident response, on-scene traffic control and limited first aid as needed
Provide Traffic Incident Management Services
Accepts personal responsibility of all work output
Adheres to all MAP SOP guidelines.
Using a two-way radio and/or smart phone, Communicate and Coordinate with the Traffic Management Center staff with regard MAP work activities.
While providing emergency roadside service to motorist, Operators will observe safety required procedures to avoid injury and accidents at all times.
Additional Duties performed by Lead Operator:
Able to prepare shift line-up (Roster) and take disciplinary action as authorized.
Responsible for monitoring the daily field operations of the Motorist Assistance Program activities and staff, confirms the daily shift schedules and manages the field route assignments.
Prepare correspondence, accident reports, schedules, forms, presentations, training material, personnel management documentation, and electronic communications.
Report assigned equipment/vehicle maintenance/repair needs to Manager.
Participate in operations analysis, including measures of effectiveness, route designations, manning requirements, reporting criteria and methodology, and evaluation of traffic needs, trends, and response.
Assist with the development and maintenance of Operations Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures/Guidelines.
When requested by manager or customer, participates in Post Incident Analysis. Perform other duties as assigned.
MAP Operators and Lead Operators are subject to working in all types of weather, 24/7/365, holidays, weekends, required overtime, and call outs due to identified emergencies.

Executive Search Associates is a Columbus, Ohio based recruiting firm providing highly competent and qualified commercial mortgage banking professionals to leading employers nationally.
Our client is a mid-sized MAP APPROVED lender with 30 years experience and four offices. They specialize in FHA Multi-Family lending, affordable housing/Low Income Housing Credits, Fannie Mae construction loans, and other types of commercial mortgage lending.
The ideal candidate will be a FHA MAP/LEAN CERTIFIED UNDERWRITER; or at least MAP approved with some experience on LEAN healthcare deals. The ability to work remote is a possibility for the right candidate.
Primary Duties and
• Demonstrate an understanding of the FHA/HUD MAP loan underwriting process and its application to each potential loan as demonstrated by the ability to independently recognize risks, and propose solutions.
• Facilitate the understanding of each deal and assist in resolving issues by routinely meeting with related departments to discuss the details of the deal and raise pertinent issues as necessary.
• Routinely communicate with borrowers (as dictated by the particular relationship), correspondents, and third party vendors to obtain information on a timely basis - clarify information and resolve outstanding issues.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the underwriting process to include, but not limited to, the following:
◦ Mortgage Credit: Understanding of organizational structures and identification of principals; evaluation of the experience, qualifications, financial capacity and creditworthiness of proposed principals; identify potential credit, financial and experience issues and propose resolutions; and ultimately make a credit decision.
◦ Third Party Reports: Engage appropriate third party reports based on the transaction type, and complete a thorough review and analysis of the reports.
◦ Underwriting: Perform site inspections, lease audits and comparable evaluations as appropriate; review and analysis of the management agent / operator; evaluate market conditions, competitive environments, and economic influences; analysis of real estate to include zoning, title, survey, insurance, operating history, occupancy, subsidy/payor sources, etc.; prepare a comprehensive underwriting narrative for review.
• When obstacles are identified that the Underwriter/Analyst feels uncomfortable resolving independently, deliver the facts, options, and a proposed solution to the next level.
• Maintain and ensure that information pertaining to each deal in Salesforce, SharePoint, and VDR accurately reflects the current status of the deals.
• Set timelines for analysts and monitor progress toward meeting those timelines.
• Responsible for managing the underwriting process to ensure submission of application prior to expiration of time sensitive exhibits (e.g. third party reports).
• Develop and pursue a training plan to advance career and/or knowledge base.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated experience in underwriting multifamily and healthcare properties.
• The ability to identify and underwrite the key credit, sponsor related risks, and the ability to evaluate alternative risks carefully when structuring a transaction, and a demonstrated knowledge of property operations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data quickly and draw sound conclusions.
Preferred: Bachelors or better in real estate or related industry
Preferred: 3-5 years of MAP underwriting work experience in commercial real estate.
Licenses & HUD MAP OR HUD LEAN Certification

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Involved in planning of application development and deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards on specific programs or projects.
Communicates with domain experts, outside customers, users, and management throughout the software development lifecycle.
This position will include Windows application development for sensor management software throughout the software life-cycle.
Programming duties shall include development of integrating new sensors (e.g. EO/IR, radar), implementing user interfaces, and interfaces to other systems.
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information systems or a related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree.
