POSITION SUMMARY: Partner with production and retail team members in a high energy fast-paced environment to perform a variety of operational functions that include receiving, sorting, pricing, processing and preparing donated merchandise to display for sale in a Goodwill retail store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Sort and process merchandise from containers to determine appropriateness for the sales floor in accordance with established guidelines.
2.Accurately and timely record and monitor donations.
3.Work a flexible schedule in support of the store opening, production, and closing operations including work on weekends and holidays.
4.Stay abreast of brand name, designer labels, current and vintage styles.
5.Sort apparel into boutique, sellable, and salvage categories according to quota.
6.Place items on hangers, places hangers on rolling rack, and transport them to the sales floor keeping similar items grouped.
7.Count pieces of clothing and record on Daily Hanger Report.
8.Place non-sellable merchandise in the appropriate container.
9.Price all sellable items for the retail store.
10.Maintain a pace at which one is able to meet daily quota for pieces processed.
11.Comply with safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the manager on duty.
12.Provide exceptional customer service to all our donors/customers, including friendly and engaging interactions.
13.Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

The Trades Small Capital Project construction crews of the Park and Recreation Department are responsible for the construction of 8-12 capital projects, totaling $1 million, annually. The City of Fort Worth Park and Recreation Department, Planning and Resource Management is recruiting for a concrete finisher to fill the vacant position of a Skilled Trades Technician/Concrete Finisher.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
The selected candidate will perform construction of small capital projects, including but not limited to the following: playgrounds, sidewalks and trails, shelters, parking lots and roadways, paver installations, brick work and roofing. The successful candidate must have the ability to finish concrete, set forms, tying rebar, some knowledge of erecting shelters or commercial playgrounds, paint, perform strenuous manual labor tasks, and willingness to work in all kinds of weather and overtime when required.

Knows scrap and rework codes and can perform die penetrant, mag-particle, or X-Ray operations to include reading.
Selects and mounts proper tool in burr gun. Also determines what will be removed by belt cleanup.
Conduct dimensional inspection as required using B/P, height gauge, caliper, MIC feeler gauge and check gauges, etc.
Manipulates tool or parts to remove unwanted metal. Dimensional inspection will be done at this time.
Completes paperwork on travelers as required.
May transport finished pieces to next operation stations ensuring paperwork is complete before movement.
Instructions are provided on job assignments and equipment. Operating difficulties. Able to interpret routine traveler and tech card instructions.
Follows established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain the quality of the work environment.
Performs related work requiring equal or lesser skill as assigned.
Requires the ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions equivalent to a grade school education.
