Our state-of-the-art clinical laboratories provide sophisticated technology and automated equipment that allow our teams to get to answers faster and more efficiently, with a strong emphasis on applied and translational research. It's a very exciting time for our Laboratory Medicine department as Memorial Sloan Kettering is moving to a new state-of-the-art laboratory medicine facility on East 64th Street between First and Second Avenues. The new Laboratory Medicine Building will maximize operational efficiency, allowing the Laboratory Medicine team to provide test results faster and reduce the amount of blood needed from a patient to generate those results. This position is for an experienced Laboratory Technologist III who is proficient in flow cytometric testing and assay/instrument validation.
We are looking for someone to participates in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. This position will assist laboratory management to set-up new instrumentation, as well as to establish and optimize operational protocols. We are also looking for this person to assist laboratory management to design and set-up new assays, to choose analytical methods, as well as to establish and optimize operational protocols.

You will:
Perform and maintain competency in the technical and related work of the laboratory.
Manage the physical environment of the laboratory in accordance with New York State DOH, Joint Commission, OSHA and CLIA regulations.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on all laboratory matters.
Assure compliance with MSKCC P&Ps, and regulatory agency requirements.
Annually review and revise site specific P&Ps in collaboration with the MSK Laboratory, the laboratory director, and the laboratory manger.
Assumes technical responsibilities in assigned area or with assigned equipment/assay.
Performs more complex procedures.
Keeps knowledge current.
Assures compliance with new/applicable regulations.
Participates in advanced training.
Assists in various QMS, LIS, Education, and Technical Assay/Instrumentation responsibilities, as assigned.
You need:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences.
New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
2+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience in flow cytometry (preferred).
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Hours will be between 7am and 7pm.

The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Marker Maker and Digitizer located at our Haverhill, MA location. The Marker Maker, under moderate supervision, prepares garment markers using CAD equipment.
Essential Duties:
Digitizes patterns for garment development process and makes modifications of the pattern in graphic design software.
Creates and distributes product design and pattern documentation.
Applies standard company grading and ensures quality standards are used during the product development process and for final production.
Applies standard alterations and ensures quality standards are met during the pre-production order processing for special orders.
Prepares and creates patterns from plastic and paper based materials.
Performs such similar, comparable or related duties, as may be required, including guiding and assisting other CAD Marker Makers.

Knowledge:
Working level knowledge in the use of CAD (computer-assisted drafting) equipment, and pattern cutting in the garment industry.Experience: Marker making and CAD experience in the garment manufacturing industry are required.
Skills/Aptitudes: Attention to details; mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity; and data entry, organizational and oral and written communication skills are required.
Working Conditions: Office and plant environments. Occasional overtime may be required.

Servers are responsible for submitting and presenting guest beverage selections. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of libations. Servers engage in casual conversation and must maintain an attractive setting. Their style and service attributes are key to creating the guest experience.

Qualifications
Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Prior serving experience preferred.
Customer service experience strongly preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and carry moderate weight.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
TABC & Food Handler certification required within 1 week of hire date
