We are seeking a full-time Marker Maker committed to helping drive our business with a passion for the retail or apparel industry.
The Marker Maker, under moderate supervision, prepares garment markers using CAD software.
Prepares markers for stock, mail and special orders, using CAD.
Rewinds and inspects markers in order to avoid errors.
Retrieves pieces from completed jobs for use in further manufacturing.
Prepares patterns from plastic materials including cutting.
Performs such similar, comparable or related duties, as may be required, including guiding and assisting other Marker Makers.
Requirements and Qualifications:
One year performing cutting duties in the garment manufacturing industry is required.
Associate or Bachelor degree from fashion or design school preferred.
Must have experience using CAD (computer-aided design) software and/or pattern cutting, preferably in the garment industry or from education.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office software applications.
Ability to work with people at all organizational levels, especially in a team environment.
Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for providing protection and communication with hotel guests and employees. He/she is also responsible for patrolling hotel premises to maintain security, detect and report fire, security and safety hazards and/or violations of Highgate Hotel's rules and regulations.
Use proper radio etiquette at all times.
Maintain visual contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor and the front door of the hotel by remaining in the Lobby area when not on property walks.
Maintain and review daily activity log.
Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents.
Hold briefing with Guest Services staff both at the beginning and end of shift.
Check ID of visitors/employees as necessary.
Access secured areas for authorized personnel.
Maintain an awareness of legal limitation of position (local, state and/or federal ordinances).
Assist guests to their rooms or assist guest's w/entry into their rooms according to hotel standards.
Assist during medical emergencies.
Respond to emergency situations, including medical, security, guest complaints, etc.
Investigate assault complaints.

Respond to altercations, and investigate.
Have knowledge of hotel and guestroom locking systems.
Monitor TV cameras, if applicable.

Complete Incident/Accident reports in a clear and concise manner.

Patrol area to insure that areas are secure and free of unauthorized persons and disturbances.
Provide escorts to persons carrying money, or other requests.

This position is responsible for set up and operation of all Laser equipment. Understand all safety procedures involving the Laser function. Understand blueprints and its relationship to laser marking the product. Ability to use measuring devices to ensure accurate positioning of marking.

Be trained in use of a Class 1 (protected) and Class 4 (unprotected) laser marker system, including all safety procedures, including Personal Protection Equipment and 5S Philosophies and laser room functions, fire extinguishers, ventilation, safety interlocks, fume extraction, etc.
Interact with Laser using LaserCad User Interface to call up and activate required programs to accomplish specified mark. Contact Level 2 personnel or assigned manufacturing engineer for mark corrections.
Need general knowledge of hand measuring tools, optical comparator, etc. to evaluate marked part content / location. Submit first article for inspection as required.
Understand and Utilize provided tooling to accurately position parts for marking
Be knowledgeable of 2D Matrix theory and practices

What You Will Do:
