A Day in the Life
You will be a major contributor in the execution of primary quantitative marketing research projects inclusive of the following responsibilities:
Program/Implement surveys using one of two survey design platforms
Assist in managing fieldwork (in-house and with 3rd party panel companies)
Perform data analyses using raw data files, build/use cross tabulations (via SPSS, MiniTab, Excel, etc.) and interpret results to drive business decisions
Collate, categorize and report on open-end responses to online surveys and/or social media to identify themes for communicating insights back to the business
You may also contribute to the execution of qualitative marketing research projects in respect to recruitment/targeting, discussion guide development, and/or data analysis/reporting (as needed and dependent upon your individual skill set)
You may also support ethnographic marketing research projects (as needed and dependent upon your individual skill set)
General responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Performs analyses in the areas of customer and/or target profiling, product preferences, market potential, marketing practices, message optimization, and/or identifying consumer/customer trends (among other areas of investigation.)
- Writing reports (PowerPoint) based upon types of analyses and identifying key findings/interpretations of the data.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience doing primary market research
Hands on experience in data analysis and report writing
