Sugarloaf Terrain Park Attendant
Full Time Week Day
The Terrain Park Attendant is essential for maintaining all park elements in the terrain park in an effort to provide an enjoyable environment for our guests. This position's goal is to provide all guests with the best possible terrain park experiences.
This person helps educate park users in Terrain Park and Pipe Etiquette. He or she also maintains and monitors the energy in the terrain park through music, color, fencing, banners, flags, comradely, and events. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.
Monitoring and maintaining the designated music, fencing, banners, and flags.
Keeping signage visible in the parks.
Knowing and educating guests on terrain park etiquette and Smart Style.
Monitoring all elements for risk and closing any and all elements that become unsafe to our guests until maintenance can be performed to reopen the feature.
Complete all end of the day closing procedures of all parks and features.
Complete Park Report daily for Park grooming staff.
Responsible for the completion of all daytime terrain park related forms; including but not limited to: design and layout map(s), Daily Terrain Park Opening Form(s), Terrain Park New Feature Map(s), Post Incident Reopening Form(s), Terrain Park Staff Incident Comment Form. As well as, any company equipment or vehicle forms.
Contributes to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of the guests and employees: participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintaining a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions
Must be expert skier or snowboarder, comfortable riding freestyle terrain, such as jumps, rails and boxes.
Sugarloaf Shuttle Driver
Provide day and night operation of shuttle service. Park cars and drive 10-30 passenger capacity buses.
Provide mountain information to resort guests. Work as part of a team to provide transportation and information. CDL desired, must have a safe driving record and ability to drive in adverse conditions.
Good communication skills are a must. Must be at least 18 years old
Arrive at work on time and when scheduled.
Greet guests and employees and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
Obtain and keep up to date a Class B Drivers License with passenger and air brake endorsements.
Adhere to safety rules to ensure safety of guests, employees, and equipment.
Fill out daily paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion. These reports include but not limited to vehicle inspection, daily driver log, and guest count. Report any problems immediately in writing to Vehicle Maintenance Department.
Report any personal driving infractions from regular vehicle or commercial motor vehicle to Supervisor as soon as possible. Failure to do so could mean dismissal from duties.

Sugarloaf Ski And Snowboard Instructors
Teach children and adults how to ski and ride and enjoy the mountain environment. It is not necessary to be an excellent skier or rider, but a love of the sport and the desire to continually improve regardless of current ability is important.
Must be comfortable setting up an environment conducive to safety, fun and learning
Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with guests, supervisors and co-workers
Must be reliable, dependable and timely
Must have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge of the sport and inspire others to enjoy it
Must be able to work outside in extreme and quickly changing winter mountain conditions
Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
Must be able to maintain a great guest service attitude while working with beginner students on green terrain throughout the season

Sugarloaf Information Systems Coordinator (Isc)
Sugarloaf is seeking candidates for the position of Information Systems Coordinator (ISC). This job requires extensive, daily contact with both Sugarloaf guests and Sugarloaf employees. Customer service is a key element of the job and adherence to Sugarloaf's service values is mandatory. For the most part, Sugarloaf employees are the IT department's customers.
Provide desktop PC support to employees and customers.
Maintain voice, data, and TV cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor). Repair or replace damaged wiring. Install and terminate wiring to support renovation, relocation, or new construction.
Provide direct guest support for guest room issues, including but not limited to: TV, phone and internet.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace various systems, including but not limited to: end user computers, phones, TVs and printers. Use vendor support to resolve difficult problems.
Provide users with basic instruction.
Document solutions for both end user education and technical reference purposes.
Perform and maintain an inventory of tools and equipment. Maintain stocks of consumable supplies.
Additional tasks will be assigned by supervisor.
Use of personal vehicle for travel within the Sugarloaf area is required. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
Weekend work schedule is required. Evening work may be needed during scheduled maintenance or in case of emergency. Wage Information: Hourly and dependent on experience

Working Conditions and Environment:
Will be required to carry a cell phone and to be on call when scheduled. A stipend will be provided.
Working environment can include dirty, dusty, damp, dark, hot and cold conditions.
Appropriate equipment will be provided for hazardous conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use common technician hand tools, work in areas without handicap access and work on a ladder.
Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats and read manuals, documentation and computer screens.
Require a minimum of High School diploma or equivalent. Desire 2 years related work experience.
A+ Certified Professional is the preliminary base requirement
Advanced knowledge of network cabling, T568A/B wiring standards, and cable count color codes a plus.
Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications are required.
Ability to learn the operation and maintenance of complex PBX telephone systems is required.
Basic knowledge of networking desired.

Sugarloaf Lift Mechanic Technician
Sugarloaf is seeking to hire a full time year round Lift Mechanic Technician. To join our team we are seeking detailed-orientated, physically fit candidates who are willing to work outside in all types of weather conditions, day or night. Lift mechanics install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot lift equipment as well as assist lift operations with the start up and shut down of the lifts daily. They also read diagrams and manufacturers' manuals, fit bearings, rebuild sheave trains, service grips and perform other mechanical procedures requiring specialized training. Candidates must be able to work at great heights.
Safely operate motorized vehicles suggested, but not limited to: Work trucks, snowmobiles, loader and four wheeler
Working on and climbing lift towers (not limited estimate of 6ft-130ft tall)
Working on top of lift assemblies without work platforms (which are not required)
Working with moving machinery equipment (RPMs estimated @ 1750 RPM)
Working with high pressure hydraulics
Troubleshooting and working with high volt and low volt controls
Working with cleaning solvents, greases, oils, other flammables and combustibles
Have the ability to work safely in a team effort or independently
Work safely doing line work in a maintenance work basket

Works under the supervision of the Lift Director and the Lift Maintenance Manager, but must be able to work independently in the absence of supervision and respond appropriately when immediate action is required. Sugarloaf is looking to hire a line cook to prepare food, help kitchen workers in the preparation of food items and set up allocated stations for menus, as instructed by Chef.
Prepare food according to food handling guidelines and cooking procedures compliant with standards.
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe or use record to prepare and prep food items.
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
Communicate and coordinate production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team.

We are looking for a hands-on chef who is creative and proficient in all aspects of food preparation. The chef will recruit, train and manage a staff of 10 people or more, establish work schedules and assess staffs' performance, supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities, estimate food consumption, purchase food, plan menus, standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality, establish presentation technique and quality standards, ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen. The chef is responsible for providing top-quality products and service while managing within the budgeted labor, supply and cost of goods guidelines. He/She will prepare guest meals and work closely with the Resort Executive Chef and other outlets within the company and is also responsible for remedying problems or complaints from guests, performing administrative duties and attending essential meetings. The ability to present a professional manner and maintain composure during pressure situations is a must. Work shifts will vary based on business levels and necessary job tasks, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with more time being needed during periods of extremely heavy business.
