Weekend Float/Machine Operator
Loparex, a leading global manufacturer of silicone release liners used in a wide variety of pressure sensitive adhesive applications, is looking for a seasoned Machine Operator for night and day weekend schedules. These positions will be working on a 12 hour night shift from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., or a 12 hour day shift from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work schedule runs on Friday's, Saturday's, and Sundays. Work 36 hours but get paid for 40 while having a full 4 days off.
Weekend floating machine operators must be versatile and adaptable. They will work in different areas/machines each day as required.

Responsible for warehouse activities involving inventory, shipping, receiving, operating fork truck and computer work. 12 hours shifts of 5am to5pm.
Operate fork truck to transport material on the plant premises, as assigned.
Deliver raw stock, chemicals, and work in progress to coaters, slitters, mixer, and warehouse as necessary. Check with coating operators to determine stock needed to keep current orders running and with Scheduling to determine production requirements.
Unload raw stock from trucks and box cars. Move tagged rolls to appropriate inventory location.
Move rolls within warehouse as necessary. Load trucks with finished goods.
Weigh, record, and move finished goods to staging area.
Weigh and restock butt rolls after coating operations. Deliver reject stock to appropriate area.
Perform preventive maintenance on lift truck at the beginning of each shift, including checking fluid levels, safety devices, etc.
Log production information on computer.
Complete appropriate inventory tags.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Specific positions-Valid CDL and Fork Truck operation license
Ability to read and write
Ability to read a ruler
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and perform basic physical requirements like bend, kneel, twist, climb, etc.

Position Title: Off-Shift Driver Manager
As a Driver Manager, you will be responsible for managing a fleet of drivers, developing relationships with drivers while processing messages, submitting load and customer information and ensuring drivers are aware of their daily schedule.
1.Developing relationships with fleet drivers to support driver retention efforts.
2.Reviews driver's daily schedule to ensure they are DOT compliant and adhere to their Hours of Service as it applies to the driver's positional home time.
3.Manages drivers daily through processing of inbound messaging from fleet, submitting daily plan info, customer information, route suggestions and fuel solutions in a timely manner.
4.Ensure proper estimated time of arrivals through effective communication between driver and customer service.

Position Title: Tractor Trailer Technician
Performs maintenance on tractors and trailers
1.Provide routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tires, brakes, any trailer repairs, including electrical diagnosis and repairs, including ABS system.
2.Conducts preventative maintenance in order to maintain D.O.T. regulations and safety. Replace air chambers, wheel bearings, wheel seals, dollies, doors, door seals, patches roofs and needed repairs to trailer body, aligns axles as needed; and minor damage repair including some welding on aluminum and steel.
3.Maintains a clean and organized work area. Works in a safe and efficient manner. Follows all company safety policies.
4.Maintains organization of shop; follows proper shop procedures, assists other shop staff members with maintenance as needed; and performs various ground and property maintenance as needed.
5.Participates in departmental training involving updated repair procedures, safety awareness and equipment changes.
6.Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required; One year of experience in the area of fleet maintenance or related field preferred; ability to read and write work orders, basic computer skills and possession of Roll Tool Chest and hand tools.
