The Material Clerk will be responsible for:
Receives, stores and issues materials, supplies and merchandise.
Compiles and verifies stock records against source documents.
Packages and ships end products.
Loads, unloads and moves materials within and outside the plant.
Performs tasks with minimal supervision.
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepares items for direct shipping or delivery according to customer specifications.
Counts, sorts, compile records and inventory quantities, types of materials received, stored and issued in plants. Prepares material for storage.

This would include having met the requirements set forth by the State of Illinois in terms of drivers' license, or by the Company for certification of the safe operation of fork lift trucks or related equipment prior to assignment to work with one of those pieces of equipment.
Equipment operated weigh scales, stretch wrapper, PCs, automated printing equipment, both line printers and label printers, and other material handling equipment as it applies.
Possesses knowledge of proper parts handling, cleanliness requirements. Patch checks parts as required. Ability to utilize TGM's system and inventory control procedures for tooling and gages.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Must possess the ability to read and understand written documents as they pertain to the Quality Management System.
Must demonstrate satisfactory computer skills necessary to assist in the administration of the Quality Management System. A familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is preferable. Ability to utilize computerized shipping/tracking programs.
Operate forklift trucks and pallet jacks.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Must be forklift qualified in 30 days and have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.

This position responsible for R&R and SAGE.

The Material Handling/Receiving Clerk will work closely with Material Handling Supervisor and Materials team to receive and fulfill internal and external orders. The Material Handling/Receiving Clerk will inspect parts for damage or visible defects while receiving, pulling and or packing. Using safety guidelines and procedures the Material Handling/Receiving Clerk will ensure that all parts are received, pulled and or packed, accurately, organized and in a timely manner.
Locate, load and move products to fill internal and external orders.
Ensure the proper packaging materials are used when necessary to reduce product damage.
Inspect parts while pulling and or packing for damage and or visual defects.
Receive, inspect and record shipments with raw material or products
Unload pallets/packages, visually inspect the contents for damage and ensure that quantities and specs match the corresponding purchase orders and pack slips.
Properly label deliveries and allocate to designated location.

Parts room/Material Handler Clerk (3rd shift 12hr swing)—Serves under Purchasing Agent.
The primary responsibilities of this clerk are the retrieving, issuing, and stocking of parts and materials. The parts room clerk is the first responder to assist at parts cage to handle parts retrieval and issuance of departments in need.
Expected duties include but are not limited to:
