Duties include locating, moving, and delivering parts within or between departments/work centers according to production schedules. Works from routing sheets, kit lists, material requisitions, dispatch reports, pic lists, and oral and written instructions to perform duties necessary to maintain adequate levels of materials, parts, kits and assemblies. Locates, moves, delivers or reports status of required parts and assemblies for various production areas. Reviews bin locations, storage areas, shortage lists, and confers with material planners to determine required stock levels.
A. Initiates material requisitions to obtain purchased parts for kits, assembly line and spare parts requirements. Accurately performs counts during receipt, issue, kit fill and cycle count transactions to maintain accuracy requirements.
B. Pulls parts for kit fill, locates, obtains and delivers materials and parts to storage locations, machine operations or production lines utilizing material handling equipment as required.
C. Maintains records such as shortage lists, material requisitions, schedules, etc. Performs periodic reviews of parts, supplies and assemblies for assigned areas and makes additions or deletions to shortage lists.
D. Coordinates with own and other departments' supervision, production and manufacturing control personnel to determine shortage items and priorities
Proficiency with MS Office and database applications along
