What Product Test and Calibration contributes to Cardinal Health
Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.
The Material Handler for the warehouse is responsible for the movement and transportation of material to and from designated areas within the plant.
Responsible for movement of material from plant to outside warehouses – verify count and type of material loaded, record movement

Conducts weekly safety inspection of work area documenting results and coordinating with safety department. Complete required Monthly safety check lists.
Within 1 year completes Safety Trained Supervisor certification.
Assigns an employee from each area and shift to site safety committee and encourages active involvement.
Follows all safety rules and guidelines and monitors employee's safety compliance.
Assists safety department with the drafting, training, and posting of applicable Job Hazard Analysis.
Assist safety department in all research and reporting of Accidents and or Mishaps.
Ensures employees are scheduled for operations training in coordination with risk analyst.
Provides process excellence training to employees using Enclosure 2 of all applicable SOP's for MPC.
Measures employees training status and communicates progress to risk analyst for tracking.
Maintains hard copy SOP's and Operations training for employees reference and trains employees to find soft copies of those same documents.
Ensures document retention requirements are met in accordance with DMS and MPC SOP guidance.
Receive Stow issue of Non-Accountable material for all local commands, home ported and visiting ships to include general cargo, Hazmat, Medical, oversized and any special requirements. Maintain 100% accountability and tractability of MPC material.
Monitors MPC workload using DSS, MIS, QMF, etc.… to ensure all APL's are met. Communicates any potential problems to site management during daily production meeting and assists with submission of required weekly APL SITREP.
Researches open delivery manifests, open CCN's awaiting manifest, ensures material availability on Cargo on Hand reports, and responds to special customer requests for pallet counts and available material on hand for delivery.

Works with NAVY LSR's and local customers to establish delivery schedules for local customers, home ported and visiting ships and ensures schedules are adhered to. Prioritizes delivery of TP1 CASREP material and any material identified as high priority.
