Direct team members to complete assigned tasks using standard operating procedures and/or direction from management.
Direct and coordinate the activities of team members engaged in the production or processing of goods to meet production goals and demands.
Demonstrate work procedures to new team members or assign new team members to more experienced team members for training.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for team members.
Maintain operations data such as, but not limited to, production numbers, team member head count, scrap, and cost records to be reported daily to management.
Provide daily operation reports electronically (i.e. computer, email, etc.), written, and/or verbally to management daily as directed by management.
Recommend and/or implement measures to motivate team members to meet production related goals such as, but not limited to, finished goods, cost reduction, and overall efficiency.
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
Must have graduated high school or equivalent. Mathematical comprehension test will be administered.
Must have worked at current position for a minimum of 6 months. Previous operators experience preferred.

Ink Batch Maker is a position which should require moderate supervision by Production Supervisor. The position is responsible for learning how to operate equipment, manufacturing and packaging fluids, and keep their workstation/equipment/products clean and orderly, and performing other duties as assigned.

Adhere to processes & procedures, follow a batch ticket, record information on batch tickets, labeling containers, packaging inks and inspecting customer products per requirements.
Pull/weigh/blend raw materials to make inks (water, solvent, UV/EB, or oil based).

Education and/or Experience
Employee must have a high school degree or equivalent. Prior batch making or Compounding experience preferred, but not required. Worked in a GMP (good manufacturing practice) environment.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
Operator must be able to: 1) read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures, 2) complete process documentation accurately, 3) follow all emergency, evacuation and environmental protection policies and procedures.
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. May require the use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules or diagrams.
Reasoning Ability: Requires the use of some judgment to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of setups, operations and processes within the limitations of standard operating. Plan and construct a wide variety of tools, dies, fixtures and gauges to very close tolerances, or construct more complex units where design is available.
Perform development work, layout and difficult tool room machine operations, fitting, timing and adjusting, e.g. combination dies for parts or irregular contour, box type drill jigs with difficult locating or nesting features, ordinary index milling fixtures.
Dismantles and repairs or replaces parts of damaged dies and fixtures, fits and assembles parts, and tests repaired dies for proper operation.
Operates cranes safely to remove and/or relocate dies to specific work stations/equipment.
Establishes and maintains an effective preventative maintenance program. Ensures all tools are properly fit for use.
Prepares sketches for machining of tool details.
Performs basic layout inspections of both tooling and manufactured components in press.

Tool Makers construct, repair and maintain tooling fabricated from all types of material to include; jigs, fixtures, templates, plastic tools and others that are used in the manufacture, assembly and handling of airplane parts and components. It is a large, diverse job with many different skill requirements. Job responsibilities include:
Plan, sequence, and layout own work operations in the fabrication, assembly, repair, rework, routine and maintenance of all tool types and materials, including prototype and/or automated tool control systems. Provide Tooling support to manufacturing as required, including:
Production Assist, Tooling Assist and Ship Side support. Use and interpret tool and engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, production parts, computing systems, verbal and/or written instructions to accomplish assignment.
Use all types of power and non power equipment, both hand held and floor mounted to accomplish work assignments or operations. Processes include: cutting, grinding, spotting, hand finish, shaping, bending, deburring, drilling, model layout, reaming, tapping, wiring, lay up, plumbing, pneumatics, and weld preparation using documented processes and procedures. Use any and all required precision measuring instruments and methods necessary to complete and check own work assignment.
Utilize and/or interpret 3D measurement and analysis systems and software; such as Laser Trackers, Photogrammetry, Laser Radar, etc. and conventional optics. Identify and select appropriate equipment, tools and materials used in the fabrication, maintenance and rework of tools.
