KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Engine Testing: Perform a variety of engineering tests on various engine types (B&S and competitors): (examples: dynamometer, horsepower, oil consumption etc¿) within the test house according to engineering standards. Activities include align and mount engine to stand maintain running engines (oiling) as instructed, record results as required in Excel or SAP
Engine Analysis. Activities include teardown / build up engines; gage/measure & record wear on engine parts (pistons, rods, rings, crankshaft, etc¿), measure and record defects
Engine Repairs: Teardown, evaluates, and repair engine. Can include valve jobs and/or changing rings/pistons on engine.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
