Job Summary:
Employee to care for physical and emotional needs of residents in an Americare skilled or assisted living facility. Employee provides residents with direct care to assure quality of life in a home like environment while offering additional support to family and visitors. Maintains professional behavior while functioning as an interdisciplinary team member meeting state and federal guidelines.
Critical Functions:
Administers personal care to residents and maintains resident's medical record. Employee responds to a variety of resident needs including answering call lights, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, monitoring and recording vital signs, monitoring and recording food intake and output, transporting via wheel chair, assisting with ambulation in a safe manner. Included is general housekeeping such as changing linens and room organization. Position includes turning, repositioning and providing proper body alignment to prevent pressure sores and to aide in comfort of resident. Employee is to assist and support professional nurses as requested. Responsible to assist resident in obtaining quality of life in a safe living environment and be supportive to resident's family members while projecting professional behavior.
Training and Experience:

Required to follow HIPAA guidelines and adhere to confidentiality of resident information. Position requires accuracy in observation, performance, reporting and documenting. Provides an accurate flow of information between first shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift staff members; communicates with customers any conflicts or schedule changes which may arise which may affect West Side's ability to fulfill customers' expectations; and consults and communicates with Customer Service department any obligations which need to be met from all involved parties.
Identifies potential service problems and works to resolve them in a timely manner in order to effectively keep freight moving; and improves utilization through better load assignment, setting contingency plans, and understanding unique characteristics of individual customers and drivers.
Trains with other related departments as necessary according to company needs; participates in company wide training opportunities to improve self learning; and works to maintain mutual respect and professionalism with co-workers and subordinates to sustain a positive team environment.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Necessary Qualifications:
Six months management experience required. Operations in tansportation, computer systems, satellite systems and innovative software experience all beneficial. Problem solving and communications skills desirable.
Physical Qualifications:

Carrier Sales Rep. (Broker)
Position Title: Carrier Sales Representative (Broker)
Position Reports to: Director of Logistics
Position Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Position Summary:
Under general supervision, works directly with Customer Service Reps to cover all booked loads; solicits carriers (new and existing) to haul booked loads; and works with other departments as needed in order to provide complete service to customers.
Essential Functions:
Serves as broker to load carriers to meet customer expectations; maintains flow of communication between drivers and Customer Service Reps; and works to resolve issues that come up during loads to ensure each load is delivered on-time and in the condition, it was intended to be.
Processes loads from the time of entry into AS/400; updates all load postings throught DAT, and other load posting web-sites as instructed.
Monitors West Side rate charges and market shifts; and works with carriers to maintain profit levels.
Works with Customer Service department in order to move excess loads.
Maintains updated carrier information in computer system.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Necessary Qualifications:
One-year experience in the area of Customer Service or related field required; AS/400 experience preferred; ability to type 40 w.p.m. preferred; excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Position Title: Driver Manager
Position Summary:
The Driver Manager position is critical to West Side Transport's success as you are the main source of communication between two of our greatest assets as a company. The driver and our customer! You will play an integral role in how the operations department functions on a day to day basis that determines the success of our operation!

Relationship Building: As a driver manager you will be responsible for building relationships with your fleet as they are what make you and West Side Transport successful.
