Role Summary:The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer has a comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
As the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer you will:
Generate and maintain CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS or other software
Verify new CMM programs prior to release on the shop floor
Manipulate Models using NX 12 as needed to support the CMM programming needs
Provide CMM related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator training during new processes or process improvements
Provide daily operator support in the form of CMM programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor

Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery related to CMM processes

- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 3 years of experience in dimensional inspection or Apprentice Graduate in a machining related program with 3 years of experience in dimensional inspection or 10 years of experience in dimensional inspection.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Machine Tool Technology
Ability to effectively communicate to multiple levels of the organization, both verbally and through written communication
VBA, Python programming experience
Structure Light Scanning experience – prefer GOM ATOS Professional Software
