Requirements: • Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited College or university or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience in technical design, installation, and commissioning of telecommunications equipment and systems. • In depth understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi standards and related components. • Strong knowledge/configuration experience with wireless products including Access points, controllers and other WLAN infrastructure and client devices. • Strong working knowledge of RF propagation, antenna theory, antenna types and practical usage in the field with various platforms (e.g. Aruba, Cisco). • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and site-survey tools such as Ekahau Site Survey. • Working knowledge of Category 5e/6/6A cabling and topology. • Willing to travel and/or occasionally work outside of normal hours.
