The qualified Records Manager shall oversee MARSOC’s records and is responsible to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for the creation, preservation, and/or destruction of official Government records.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct project planning consisting of the establishment of a project plan, communications plan, and client meetings to support records management deployment.
- Design, develop, and deliver approved functional file plans that meet SOF, Service Component, Joint Service, DoD, NARA, and Federal Government records management standards.
- Coordinate with SOF Enterprise stakeholders in order to perform an analysis of current paper record storage and develop a strategy and process for converting, storing, and maintaining records in a digital format.
- Develop and implement a vital records program.
- Perform data cleansing as appropriate, and have the technical ability to assist the unit in integrating an electronic records management solution within the organization’s collaborative environment.
- Provide paper-to-digital scanning and storage support using Government provided or outsourced scanning resources.
- Manage the user profiles, security of information, troubleshoot technical and administrative issues, provide training, and enhance the capabilities of the system as required.
- Provide documentation and file plan support including document retention policies. Establish guidance and manage SharePoint term store, keywords and keyword sets.

Audiology Technician ( Location:
Fort Lejeune, NC ) to provide general support for the clinical and field studies conducted at a DoD medical center and collaborating sites in support of this effort. Studies will be based on IPCAM and/or electronic hearing loss simulation systems and studies utilizing virtual environments such as head mounted displays and the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) to evaluate multisensory integration issues with Service Members with mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI).
Work with hearing conservation staff to assist in the recruitment and testing of individuals into hearing tests, either as part of their annual hearing exams or as part of clinical appointments in the occupational health or audiology department.
Work with the research staff in the development, execution, analysis, and documentation of auditory and vestibular studies focused on the evaluation and development of improved hearing protection systems and the impact of hearing loss on military effectiveness.
Work with the Research Engineer in the development, integration, and installation of custom and modified COTS (commercial off‐the‐shelf) hardware, software, and related equipment as required for the implementation of clinical and field studies related to hearing research.
Assist as necessary in the hearing conservation program, including in the testing and fitting of hearing protection devices and in the counseling and training of individuals in the use of hearing protection and on the consequences of unprotected noise exposure.
Schedule research subject initial and return appointments.
Maintain open communication with the assigned Research Engineer and research staff and report progress on the research study.
Provide assistance to Research Engineer and research staff in preparing research subjects as needed.
Ensure all data and databases abide by all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and associated patient confidentiality requirements.
Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in audiology, communication disorders, speech/language pathology or another relevant field required.
Certification in audiology or hearing conservation, required.
Experience conducting audiology research in a hearing conservation or clinical environment required.
Knowledge in desktop/portable diagnostic tympanometry equipment, electrophysiological testing equipment, PC‐based speech audiometers equipment, optoacoustic emission/auditory brainstem response equipment, vestibule‐ocular reflex assessment tools, diagnostic audiometers, and teleaudiology equipment required.
Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
Knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, techniques and medical procedures.
