Kansas Grain Inspection Service, Inc. (“KGIS”) is currently accepting applications for full-time Samplers at KGIS’ service point station in Wichita, KS. This position is responsible for sampling trucks and railcars to obtain grain samples and prepare these samples for analysis.
Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training to use in obtaining necessary licensing. Candidates must be reliable, have strong mathematical and verbal skills, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are required.
Starting wage of $12.75 per hour. KGIS offers a great benefit package which includes 401(K), health insurance, paid vacation and sick leave.

MILK is an ice cream parlor and bakeshop based out of Los Angeles, CA. We focus on using only the best quality ingredients to create delicious desserts in small batches for everyone to enjoy.
Our counter staff will greet guests and provide them with excellent service and delicious treats. Your responsibilities will include: taking orders, packing desserts, making milkshakes, sundaes and coffee drinks and working the cashier. Cleanliness is very important to MILK and you will be required to clean restrooms, empty trash cans, buss the tables, restock supplies and make sure the café is up to par with all health code requirements. This position is expected to be scheduled between 3 to 5 days a week (or between 20 to 30 hours).

Raw Milk Tester
The Tester is responsible for the testing milk from tanker trucks, washing and sanitizing tankers trucks, silos and receiving lines, and to aid in the manufacturing of all company products in a safe and sanitary work environment.
All matters listed herein are considered to be essential job functions. There may be other job functions, which are essential, but are not listed below.
Maintains all pumps, piping and other items necessary for the actual unloading of product.
Sanitizes all unloading equipment prior to its use.
Checks all incoming tanker loads for order, temperature, taste and any other factors in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program.
Responsible for the actual flow of all incoming products to its proper holding silos.
Responsible for the procurement of all necessary samples, in accordance with the Quality Assurance Program, and state or federal regulatory agencies, prior to the actual unloading of the product.
Responsible for the washing of all pumps, piping and equipment used while performing the unloading or loading process during the shift, and maintaining the entire receiving area in a clean and orderly manner while in compliance with quality assurance policies.
Frequently check flow of product, pumps, lines and tanks to ensure minimum loss of product and report any irregularities to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Lab Testing Experience
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire State Lab Sample Testing Certification and Sample Pulling Certification.
Ability to read and interpret receiving documents.

o Perform microbiological, chemical, physical, and sensory analysis of product.
o Hold, release, and reject finished goods based on product analysis.
