Direct Mail Solutions is a full service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a night shift Commingle Feeder who will be responsible for efficiently and accurately handling mail material in the Commingle Department.

Supervisor Road Feeder Services
Serves the Company by providing ground transportation vendors for common carriage freight and COMAT movement to and from our Gateways. Also, assists in maintaining scheduled ground transportation networks for Marketing and Sales to assist in securing beyond gateway customers.
Monitor and manage existing Road feeder network for cost effectiveness and service.
Work with Road feeder vendors to ensure pre-determined service levels are maintained.
Review with local station management and staff to ensure all Polar beyond trucking needs are being met
Check and approve all trucking vendor invoicing for accuracy prior to submission for payment.
Liaise between trucking companies and Customers and local Polar staff to order and monitor Truck services and ensure service commitments are met.
Assist Import customers with shipment status information
Track offline pallets that are with Freight Forwarders, Truckers and repair vendors.
Travel as required
Assist with all aspects of ULD flow when the ULD Manager is not available
Must have a working knowledge of Rules, Regulations and restrictions regarding road carriage of freight in all applicable regions.
Must be comfortable and familiar with using a computer and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

The Product Feeder position exists to feed raw materials to the production line in order to maintain continual operation of the production line. Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, this individual must be able to remain fully attentive of their work surroundings while working at a steady pace to supply a continually moving, high speed production line. They must be able to multitask and learn different work assignments. Perform visual checks of raw materials, spice mixtures and package integrity.
Following batch sheet accurately measures and adds ingredients to spice mixtures which blend and feed to the production line.
Maintains proper level of blended product in the hopper to ensure the production line has an adequate supply of product to prevent downtime.
Performs rework of finished goods or raw materials.
Assists in clean up of production equipment during product change over.
Assists QC with magnet checks.
Monitors handling unit tags by writing the process order on the handling unit tag, removing the handling unit tag from the pallet and placing in the current bin. When pallet board is completely used, the handling unit tag is placed in the consumed bin.
Completes Sanitation Inspection sheet with Quality Control Technician on a daily basis.
Performs daily housekeeping duties in the work area and occasional housekeeping duties in the plant or warehouse areas including sweeping, vacuuming, collecting trash, washing walls and equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a consistent daily basis
Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations in order to accurately measure amounts of ingredients.

Feeder Operator (Entry-Level) - Same Day Offer
Under the direction of plant supervision, this position performs all aspects of operation of our Langen Feeder Machines to produce the highest quality product, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Langen Operators are responsible to maintain continuous operation of the machine without interruptions, and troubleshoot as needed, making adjustments on machines and material to ensure proper function.
Langen Operators will be taking stacks in front of them from a moving belt conveyor and placing the stacks inside of the cartons on the Langen machine. This is a stationary job with no bending, twisting or heavy lifting.
