This role inspects all machines in their respective areas (Shellers or VTAs) on shelling area, including paddy machines/precision graders. Reports to the Miller or Production Supervisor any problems with machinery or operating efficiencies.
- Keep good Sheller Rolls on all shellers.
- Check each machine for shelling efficiency hourly.
- Check each paddy machines for any mechanical problems.
- Report any machinery involved with shelling system to supervisor.
- Report any problems with any machine/elevators or screw conveyors.
- Adjust speed of shellers as production requires. Maintain proper flow of product.
- Inform Miller or Production Supervisor of any Bin changes for documentation purposes.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated.
- Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.
- Keep Milling Equipment (VTAs and KB40s) in good condition in order to obtain required quality and production throughput.
- Check product for brokens content and check temperature on all 3 breaks twice per shift.
- Adjust speed of Milling Equipment as production requires.
- Maintain proper flow to each milling break in order to have consistent flow through between each system.
- Assist in keeping work area clean.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated.
Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.

Maintaining and sharing a projects list with the Feeding Supervisor on a weekly basis in order to schedule repair days.
Organizing and maintaining the mill and flaker inventories so parts and supplies are on hand.
Performing quality control checks on mill and flaker items, such as dry matters, flake weights, water, and fine High Moisture Corn (HMC). If there is an issue, then reporting it to the Feeding Supervisor.

This position is located at the Henderson Mill site off of CO-9 between Kremmling, CO and Silverthorne, CO. This is a rural, alpine area approximately 2 hours from the Denver metropolitan area. The mill is at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet. In the winter the average high temperature is 28 degrees and the average low is 0 degrees. In the summer the average high temperature is 75 degrees and the average low is 40 degrees. The average snowfall in Summit/Grand counties is in excess of 250 inches per year.
Employee who under direct supervision safely performs duties related to the production of copper and/or molybdenum concentrates in the Mill.
Support and complete duties within the Mill which could include tasks within the following areas: fine crushing plant, COB, ball mill, roughers, cleaners, flotation cells, moly plant, copper moly thickeners, tailing thickeners, etc.
May assist with or be responsible for taking process readings and making any necessary process changes

Job duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
This position involves setting up and running large (2.5 to 6 meter) CNC vertical turning centers to produce equipment used in the mining industry. Tasks will include machine setup, part alignment, finish machining, and inspecting work to ensure it meets the print specifications. The position may also require use of jib or overhead crane to manually position work pieces.
You will be responsible for performing very close tolerance operations such as boring, taper boring, facing, turning, chamfering, etc. on parts such as gears, drums, and weldments.
1-3 years of experience in setup, operating, and programming CNC vertical turning centers
Experience with CNC programming and G-code formats, including creating and editing programs.
Experience with using live tooling to drill, tap, bore, chamfer, and mill
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skilled and experienced with gaging, indicating, and measuring techniques, including verniers and micrometers.

Experience with 5 axis programming
Experience in a high mix, low volume shop with frequent part changeover

Assistant Mill Operator - Dodge City, KS
This is an hourly position.
To assist the Mill Operator in the operation and repair of milling equipment and systems.
The Assistant Mill Operator will be fully trained on the Grit and Roll Systems along with all sundry systems with the intent that the individual will move up to operator status when a vacancy becomes open and if it is the desire of the assistant miller to do so. The Bulk Plant Operator will be responsible for operations in the blending and loading cement, chemicals (Frac or Bulk), and/or acid needed to perform each Pumping Services job.

Review job proposals or call sheets from Coordinators to understand nature of job, volumes required, and to prepare for blend.
