Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, and tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated.
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

G-code is a language in which people tell computerized machine tools how to make something. The "how" is defined by g-code instructions provided to a machine controller (industrial computer) that tells the motors where to move, how fast to move, and what path to follow. The most common situation is that, within a machine tool, a cutting tool is moved according to these instructions through a toolpath and cuts away material to leave only the finished work piece. - Possess comprehensive knowledge of machining practices, measurement and evaluation skills, and tooling applications.

- Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating Bridgeport Manual mill with Proto trac interface – must set up, operate and edit , experience with setting up machines.
- Perform duties to set up and operate many different computerized numerical controlled machine tools to perform a wide range of turning, drilling, milling, tapping, or resistance spot welding operations on precision machined components in a work-cell environment. Follow quality and safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blue prints in English.
- Moderate physical demand required to insert tooling, set up work centers, inspect work pieces and make machine adjustments, which is equivalent to continuously lifting or moving light weight material. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an entire shift.

OVERVIEW Supervises, assigns, reviews, and schedules maintenance for mechanical equipment in an industrial food processing facility. This position has dual responsibilities due to the nature of our business (crop/non-crop). Start-up, operations and maintenance of steam turbines and large capacity gearboxes (1000+ horse power)
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, organizing and directing work of mechanical maintenance staff.
Provide shift relief for Tandems mill supervisors’ day off.
Maintains records, prepares reports, budgets and composes correspondence relative to work.

You will work extensively with Country Operations Cooperative Customers in ensuring they are provided the highest level of service. You must be customer focused, be hard working, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This position has the opportunity for growth. You will:
Operate the all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
Adhere to CHS’ quality assurance program regarding ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
Perform necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift
Maintain accurate production and FDA records, entering data into Excel spreadsheet.
Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality.
Assist management with production scheduling, inventory planning & control for both ingredients and finished products.
Determine proper routing and distribution for manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.
Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.
Observe and enforce all company policies & procedures, adhere to all safety & FDA requirements.
Effectively communicate with managers, co-workers, and customers
- Perform general work around the facility and other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED + 1 plus years of manufacturing experience
Ability to lift 50lbs, bend, turn, twist, climb ladders, stairs and bins
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
