Job Description: A Roll Grinder performs the following job duties:
Grind large mill rolls to specified shapes and finishes.
Select, balance and install grinding wheels.
Check surface quality, hardness and shape with perthometer, equo-tip, micrometer, caliper and depth micrometer.
Read and interpret blue prints and sketches.
Adjust, lubricate and maintain roll grinding machines.
Perform mechanical repair of roll grinding machines and shop equipment.
Enter roll grinding information into a computerized roll management system.
Inspect and repair roll neck bearings and chocks.
Assemble and disassemble large rolls, chocks and bearings.
Operate overhead crane from cab, pendant and radio control.
Operate fork truck.
Order parts and supplies.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period.
Employee must be able to perform essential job functions of this department.
High school or GED required.

This role inspects all machines in their respective areas (Shellers or VTAs) on shelling area, including paddy machines/precision graders. Reports to the Miller or Production Supervisor any problems with machinery or operating efficiencies.
- Keep good Sheller Rolls on all shellers.
- Check each machine for shelling efficiency hourly.
- Check each paddy machines for any mechanical problems.
- Report any machinery involved with shelling system to supervisor.
- Report any problems with any machine/elevators or screw conveyors.
- Adjust speed of shellers as production requires. Maintain proper flow of product.
- Inform Miller or Production Supervisor of any Bin changes for documentation purposes.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated.
- Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.
- Keep Milling Equipment (VTAs and KB40s) in good condition in order to obtain required quality and production throughput.
- Check product for brokens content and check temperature on all 3 breaks twice per shift.
- Adjust speed of Milling Equipment as production requires.
- Maintain proper flow to each milling break in order to have consistent flow through between each system.
- Assist in keeping work area clean.
- Must be assertive and self-motivated.
Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.

Under general supervision, must exercise knowledge to perform a variety of job duties relating to the proficient set-up of Thread Roll machines including but not limited to:
a. Review router to determine setup, tooling and specifications of parts

The Seasonal Support Associate is part of the operations team that performs non-selling duties to support the selling function of the store. The Seasonal Support Associate position is temporary and non-exempt, and schedules can include nights and weekends.
Presents merchandise consistent with merchandising standards
Ensures the timely floor setup, including pricing and signage for sales sets, promotional events and seasonal business activity (excluding shoes and cosmetics)
Ensures direction of playbook and seasonal merchandise meetings

Core Store Operations

Performs the execution of all types of markdowns on the sales floor. Sets sales and national ad events.

Responds and communicates price change inaccuracies and signage issues to the OTM.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
Removes packing materials from processing drop zones. Bails cardboard and prepares plastic for recycling.
Ensures the cleanliness of the sales floor and the receiving area following processing on truck days.

The Rewinder Inspector will assist in the manufacturing of quality printed labels for use in labeling machines at the Cool-Pak facility in accordance with Cool-Pak procedures and safety guidelines. Operates machine that winds paper from one roll to another to form compact rolls of specified footage or diameter after printing. Threads end of parent roll into feeding mechanism of machine and adjusts friction brake by hand to maintain tension of paper. Slides rewind cores (tubes) on shafts and starts machine. Verifies perforations, size, and alignment of rewind rolls. Adjusts machine, using hand tools. Inspects the labels with the use of a strobe light as the machine runs. Removes wound roll from shaft and places it into inventory. May cut defects from paper and splice cut ends together, using tape.

Manufacture products and components according to product specifications, drawings, BOM's, work orders and / or run schedules.

Verify product specification and product quality through inspection, observation, and measuring work pieces.
Adjust machine / equipment performance to meet product specifications and quality standards.
