Wet etch process engineer to develop and sustain processes for innovative electro-optical MEMS devices in a high volume manufacturing environment.
Drive cost, quality, schedule, and safety performance utilizing manufacturing systems and tools.
Respond to process needs as required which also occasionally include off-shift and on-call support for 24x7 operations.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Provide process sustaining support for electro-optical MEMS wet etch processes.
Specify and procure capital equipment for wet etch processes.
Track, analyze, and publish device yield reports.
Drive continual process improvement activities to improve yield and capacity.
Work closely with equipment and maintenance engineering to troubleshoot issues, develop maintenance plan, and recommend tooling and upgrades.
Generate and maintain process documentation.
Provide technical support, training, and monitor production personnel. Travel Requirements (please note if international): + 10 -15% Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: + 40 plus hours to support 24 by 7 operation.
Education and Experience
- BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Material Science or Physics + 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or MEMs manufacturing in Process, Yield, or Process Integration.
Experience in high volume semiconductor or MEMs manufacturing.
Ability to communicate and present technical concepts and analysis in an effective manner.
Experience with SPC and DOE.
MS or PhD in Electrical or Chemical Engineering or Material Science or Physics.
Experience with HF etching of glass.

Experience with Plasma purification is strongly desired. Knowledge of Clean Room design and facilities would be a plus.

Wet Process Equipment Engineer

Vir Bio is seeking an experienced scientist or engineer to lead the antibody and virus vector process development lab group and be accountable for the drug substance processes used for cGMP production of Vir’s pipeline of therapeutic antibodies and virus vectors. This position will initially work primarily with third parties (e.g., CDMOs and suppliers), while also establishing the necessary lab, analytical capabilities and staff to manage projects in-house. As a member of the Vir Biotechnology Process Development team, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead the development of scalable cell culture processes for the production of therapeutic vaccines. He/she will provide cross-functional support to quality control, analytical development, process analytics, and other functions. He/she will author and/or review protocols, technical reports, and regulatory submissions to support clinical development and licensure. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES • As an individual chemist, the incumbent will perform laboratory routine and non-routine tests with more focus on food, nutritional supplements and contaminants using FT-IR, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, spectrophotometer, Auto-titrator, LC-MS and other modern analytical methods, including developing, documenting and preparing SOPs or SAM, and training others on methodology developed. • To train junior staff to devise and apply available instruments and related methodologies for performing research and testing in compliance with nutrition supplement cGMP, ISO-17025, Quality System Management, QA/QC program and meeting customers’ requirement. • The incumbent will develop and validate, independently or under management direction, new methods and verify an existing method for appropriate use in the areas of focusing as requested internally or externally by clients, and in compliance with the cGMP and ISO17025 requirements. • With support by QA/QC, The incumbent will adhere to Intertek safety related practices of the facility, and execute analytical project with compliance to environment and safety policy. • The incumbent will stay current with the development of instrumentation and be aware of current developments on analytical techniques in the nutritional supplement, food and cosmeceutical industries. • The incumbent is to strictly adhere to Intertek corporate code of conduct and ethic policy in executing his/her duty, and to adhere to professionalism and to the principles of the scientific method, basing decisions on education, experience, observation, and deduction. • Follows all laboratory safety rules and reports any possible hazards to the Lab Supervisor Safety Officer, QC Manager, Operations Director, and/or Site Director • To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures, Ethics Policy, Vision and Strategy, and to exercise good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy in so doing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • B.S. in Analytical Chemistry or related field with minimum of 4 years or Master with at least 2 years with direct experience, or Ph.D.in the field of analytical chemistry, analytical biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, with significant knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques demonstrated through a combination of industry and academic performance. • Experience and technical expertise in developing, validating and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of molecules by FT-IR, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, spectrophotometer, Auto-titrator, LC-MS and LC-MS-MS are required. The incumbent should be familiar with various modern separation techniques.
Experience working in a cGMP, GLP or ISO17025 environment will be a plus in consideration. • Direct industry experience gained from a regulated laboratory is highly deriable, but not critical. Experience in a service or contract laboratory and familiarity with the USP, EPA and analytical methods by recognized bodies preferred. • Good organization/multitasking, oral and written communication and timeline management skills. • As a mid-level experienced chemist, the incumbent is expected to demonstrated track of success with minimal supervision and ability to maintain a level of scientific and technical independence in technical issue resolution Intertek offers a salary and benefit package competitively placed within the local market. Aquatics Day Camp Counselor- Wet N Wild
Effectively implements YMCA swim curricula for various levels and populations depending on class needs as outlined by the standards of the YMCA.
Prepares progressive lesson plans to enhance the experience of program participants.
Prepares reports and maintains records, including attendance records, skills sheets, progress reports, etc.
Enforces aquatic rules and policies by maintaining constant surveillance of class participants.
Acts as a primary responder in case of injury, accident, or illness in pool area and provides backup to lifeguards as needed in emergencies and crowd control.
Reports injuries and completes required forms.
Sets up facility or equipment, and stores equipment upon completion of class. Immediately notifies supervisor of any broken equipment or unsafe aspects of the pool.
Attends all in-service trainings and staff meetings as scheduled by supervisor or center leadership.
Maintains job-related certifications and documents completion of certifications in the HR information system
Supports the mission and vision of the YMCA as assigned Camp Safety
Ensures the physical and emotional health and safety of campers by being safety conscious, following all established YMCA standards and critically evaluating situations for potential risks.
Ensures compliance with established rules and regulations to ensure safety. Monitors campers and counselors and provides corrective coaching and intervention as necessary.
Sets up facilities and/or equipment for activities and stores equipment appropriately after use. Immediately notifies Program Director of any broken or unsafe equipment or if more resources/equipment are needed.
Works to keep camp facilities clean at all times. Child Abuse Prevention: Supports the YMCA’s commitment to child abuse prevention by:
Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor
Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children

Current certification YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen certification or must successfully complete the YMCA’s Aquatics Academy training program resulting in certification.
Must have prior experience working with youth; Experience in a camp setting preferred
