If you answered yes to all these questions then we want you to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Health Home Billing Specialist to join our team. The Health Services Quality Assurance Department oversees agency-wide efforts in Health Home performance management and supports evidence- generating activities. The Health Home billing specialist tends to the essential building block of Health Home billing and outcomes data, by assuring the accuracy and consistency of GSI billing, by monitoring Millin and UAS systems.
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: 7 West Burnside Avenue, Bronx, NY
Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt
Create reports from GSI to ensure billing compliance.
Collaborate with team members to support billing across systems (i.e., audits, non-Health Home data entry).
Conduct and participate in audits of HHCM and Health Services billing records to assess quality of practice and adherence to compliance standards set by contract/oversight bodies (e.g., DOH, CCF, ACS, etc.).
Send Alerts to appropriate program regarding billing concerns.
Utilize multiple data sources, including EHR, GSI, MAPP, and UAS, Millin systems to assist in practice and outcome evaluation.
Collaborate with supervisors and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of data.
Compile, review, and assess billing data accuracy and compliance statistics monitored by CCF and DOH including monthly compliance.
Other tasks as assigned.
Experience in Health Homes preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Office and database systems (e.g., GSI, myEvolv, Excel, Connections) perferred.
Must have superior organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience facilitating small group trainings.
Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people is essential.
Ability to use public transportation for travel to program locations throughout New York City.
Strong customer service sensibility essential.
