Fluor is in search of Preventive Maintenance Techs for our site in Magna Utah.
Assemble or erect steel as required for equipment, interpret shop drawings, perform non-critical welding, establish equipment or machinery center lines and elevations, perform complex riggings, precision installation of equipment, machinery or components including anchoring, leveling and aligning. Use of oxygen and acetylene equipment.
Other duties as assigned. Helpers assist journeymen with these duties.
Maintain repair and replace the following;
Pumps, Motors, Bearings, Shafts
Prior experience with conveyors, tumblers, rollers and Heavy Industrial Machinery
The ability to align shafts and couplings
Replace / Rebuild gear boxes
The ability to weld (Certified Welders are a plus)
The ability to diagnose issues before they become catastrophic failures
Must be able to utilize PC's and its applications
Fit testing and respirators are required (No facial Hair Neatly trimmed mustaches are OK)
Must be master craft (multi-craft certified) or Master Electrician licensed.

A Millwright is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing environment. In this role, the individual will spend the majority of their time troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and must have the ability to interpret drawings related to the installation and operation of machinery and equipment.
They will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance. In depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, welding, rigging and pipe fitting along with a high mechanical aptitude is desired.
The millwright will also be responsible for observing all safety regulations and all required PPE. This position requires an individual who is self-directed and capable of running projects with little or no instruction.
This position works a 12 hour shift; must be able to work any shift (day or night) on a 2-2-3 continuous operation work schedule which will include Saturdays and Sundays (2 on, 2 off, 3 on; on a repeating schedule).
Work environment: Findlay, Ohio plant
The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, and noisy.
Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.

- Must be proficient in the use of drill press, power saw, burning and welding equipment, portable drill and all types of grinders. All miscellaneous hand tools and measuring devices including micrometers and dial indicators.
