Industrial Shaft Grinder Operator
Eaton's Aerospace Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Shaft Cell Grinder on 2nd Shift to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.
The Shaft Cell Grinder will be responsible for the set up, maintenance and operating I.D., O.D., surface and CNC thread grinders. The individual will perform visual and dimensional inspections and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y14-5 and the certified operator program.

In this function you will:
Set up includes selection, mounting, balancing and truing wheel, securing work holding device/work rotating device setting speeds, feeds and stop dogs.
Work from operational sketches and blueprints to determine size and form. Where not given, select appropriate grinding wheel.
Use a variety of mechanical and electronic precision measuring instruments to check size during and after operation.
Majority of work consists of close tolerance grinding operations where quality finishes are necessary and frequent changes in set-up are required. Concentricity or run-out problems may be encountered, and work must be indicated before grinding.
Set up and operate all equipment with a minimum of assistance and be familiar with the work procedures involved in grinding a large variety of parts. Changes in set-up, maintenance of close tolerances, and quality finishes require almost constant attention.
May be required to perform more than one operation at a time as directed by the foreman.
May be required to burr work internal to the cycle.
Maintain accurate lot control (QCP 6.0) traceability, record keeping, log book entries, NCR's (QCP 11.0) and associated documentation.
Chart, plot and react to data per SPC requirement. Load and unload Datamytes.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must reside within a 50 mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Pass an Eaton vision test.
Machine Operator - Grinder
Metals USA, is currently looking for a Machine Operator-Grinder for our Muskogee, OK location. The Machine Operator-Grinder under minimal supervision regularly preforms advanced production activities requiring a demonstrated high level of skill and proficiency in production processes.
Chooses correct material for the burning job according to work order
Sets up machine, selects proper burning tip, sets gas flow and machine feed rates
Positions work pieces for processing (may operate a combination of different machines)
Uses gauges, calipers, squares or rulers for measurement
Determines processing specifications such as materials, burning tips, location of cutting lines, dimensions, tolerances and operational sequences
Reviews CAD drawings, work orders, tooling instructions or other written specifications
Sets up and aligns specified material or other fixtures in machine bed using gauges, templates, shims or hand tools

Centerless Grinder Operator
The Centerless Grinder Operator individual performs the set up and operates precision grinding equipment to grind lot parts in accordance with established shop practices. Performs work operations under supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description:Job Summary:
Processing of titanium sheets through grinders to meet customer specifications
Moves skids of titanium sheet with forklift
Will physically lift and move titanium sheets in and out of the grinders with the help of conveyors and will physically need to flip and turn the titanium sheet
Will visually self-inspect the sheet surface and use a grinding tool to remove any defects

Position Purpose: To perform duties of rough grinding process or the finish grinding process of rods which may include troubleshooting, set up and general maintenance of machine.
Summary of Primary Duties:
The incumbent is responsible for a variety of straightforward, routine duties in the assigned department or work area related to the manufacture and assembly of product. The incumbent participates in the company's quality initiatives including, but not limited to: TS/ISO certification and maintenance of quality systems in place. Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Removes raw rods from the screw machine and places into auto-feed hopper.
Sends ground rods to the plater or the production line, per work order specifications.
Performs routine quality checks on rods using test equipment ensuring minimal defects
Prepares SPC charts and other production records as needed
Operator will train on operating all the equipment on the rod grinding line. Will also train on the Thielenhaus and Surfina superfinishers. May need to move between the grinding and finishing machines as production requirements dictate.

Operate the scrap grinding equipment and feed scrap product into the grinders.

Inspect work received from the previous operation and inspect again before moving completed work to the next operation
Remove rough edges from metal parts with files.
Use a grainier to apply the designated finish to metal parts.
Recognizes equipment and product problems, notifies supervisor and/or troubleshoots errors in order to achieve optimum production levels.
Assist with loading the carts and other material handling duties
Follows all company and facility policies including quality, safety, conduct and attendance.
Must have experience in drilling, reaming and tapping holes of holes in machined parts and sheet metal.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be able to read and understand English
Must be willing to work overtime
Need to be flexible with changes
Able to lift 40 lbs
Qualified candidate must be a US Citizen
