Food Products Standardization Inspector I

The Arizona Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for approximately 55 seasonal Food Product Standardization Inspector I for the Citrus, Fruit and Vegetable (CFV) Division. The positions are located in Nogales, Arizona.
JOB DESCRIPTION – SEASONAL
The seasonal grape inspection positions are to assist with a high volume of produce and importation with mandatory inspection requirements.
The position requires inspectors to sample, inspect, and issue certificates for fresh produce entering the United States from Mexico, this is to ensure the products meet the grade requirements of the United States. Position requires inspections to be conducted in temperature controlled coolers and may require inspectors to work 10 to 12 hours a day, 6 to 7 days a week.
The inspection sites are located in Nogales and Rio Rico and will require inspectors to drive to and from the various inspection sites. The Department of Agriculture will train selected candidates for the positions.

Concrete Mixer Truck Driver (Cdl Required)
JOB LOCATION: Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 7
With minimal direct supervision, will operate a concrete mixer truck GVW on public streets and highways as well as construction sites to transport and deliver concrete material to job sites. Suitable candidates are required to have valid CDL Class A or B North Carolina Driver's license. Must have and maintain an appropriate Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), as outlined in the Corporate Safety and Health Manual.
Concrete Mixer Truck Driver
1.) Climb on, over and around a company vehicle in order to perform Pre Trip and Post Trip vehicle inspections as well as to secure loads.
2.) Climb up and down concrete mixer trucks using ladder, doing repetitive motion to inspect concrete mix consistencies and perform Quality Control checks.
3.) Lift truck hoods, product or equipment and tools necessary to perform inspection, repair, loading and unloading of trucks.
4.) Support and assist shop personnel with any required repairs.
5.) Wash trucks, clean truck cabs, climb up and down truck washing facilities.
6.) Operate the vehicle in a safe, lawful and courteous manner at all times.
7.) Keep vehicle, cab interior and exterior clean and mixer drums free from concrete buildup, stones, debris and loose objects.
8.) Read road signs and follow written or verbal directions.
9.) Maintain contact with appropriate managers by radio, GPS or telephone to inform them of delays, problems, or unusual situations.
10.)Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customer's including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
11.)Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance when reporting to work and throughout the day.
12.)Maintain and keep any operator logs and or other documentation required by regulations or the company.
13.)All necessary work must be performed while complying with all company policies and procedures.
14.)Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
High School Diploma
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in driving a commercial vehicle while maintaining a suitable MVR as stated within the standards listed in the Corporate Safety and Health Manual.
Current medical examination certificate is also required.
1 year concrete mixer experience preferred, but not required.
Dependable transportation to work.
Class B CDL is required.
Heavy physical effort required including climbing, pulling and lifting or moving heavy weight materials or equipment (over 80 pounds). If a position specific Physical Demands sheet is attached, it will describe in more detail the physical demands that are required.

Dry Blender Operator
Your future position?
As a Blender Operator in the powders department you will make powders and seasoning blends. You will also clean and sanitize associated manufacturing equipment and production area.
In this role you will:
Daily Operations: Retrieve set-up pallet and deliver to the batching rooms. Review the set-up pallet to ensure all the ingredients are present and in the correct quantities; add raw materials into blenders following proper handling and dispensing procedures; operate the blenders, screens, sifters, and other production equipment. Set up and break down the equipment and make the necessary adjustments.
Organization/Sanitation: Complete the daily work schedule and daily paperwork as directed and report any delays to Leads and Supervisors. Keep work place clean and organized. Perform end of day cleaning and sanitation of associated work areas and equipment. Perform allergen changeovers and other in-process changeovers during the production day according to company policies and procedures.
Safety/Quality/Compliance: Ensure all products are produced in compliance with the company standards and applicable laws. Utilize safe and proper raw material handling techniques. Pay careful attention to and follow food safety policies and procedures. In addition, you will contribute to the overall safety of the department by interpreting and understanding SDS safety warnings and pictograms. Compliance with all OSHA & GMP guidelines.

- The Mixer is responsible for operating mixing equipment to blend ingredients into compounds to produce a plastisol per batch sheet instruction, while abiding by all safety and environmental procedures established by PolyOne Corporation.
