ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Attends to numerically controlled equipment that automatically mixes fats, water, and mixture of dry ingredients to make dough used in production of bread and rolls.
2.Pushes buttons to activate control panel and observes lights and dials to verify that panel and equipment is functioning. Inspects sections of mixing equipment, such as mixing tools, drum of mixer, and feed hopper to verify that equipment is clean.
3.Transports butter to the cooler using FIFO.
4.Loads butter into the fat feeders or Mixer.
5.Records mixing information, i.e. lot codes, amounts, start times, dough temps, mixer speeds on mixing sheet.
6.Monitors dough coming out of mixer making sure it meets desired specifications.
7.Feels dough on conveyor to detect defects, such as excessively dry, moist, or lumpy dough.
8.Notifies Supervisor of dough not meeting mixing standards and of equipment malfunctions for the mixing equipment and scaling equipment.
9.Maintains log sheets as necessary that are required for Quality Assurance.
10. Transports rework dough to the mixing area.
11. Adds rework dough to the mixers at the appropriate rate.
12. Scales hand add ingredients into buckets. Adds the hand add ingredients to the blender when needed.
13. Maintains work area in clean and sanitary condition by sweeping floor and wiping down equipment.
14. Assists in training of new employees or employees who change job classifications.
15. Maintain a high level of sanitation and GMP’s.
16. Complete tasks and projects as required by the company.
17. Promotes safety in the work area by understanding and complying with safety procedures and reporting all accidents in a timely manner.

Produces product by mixing raw materials and manually or automatically transporting the dough to the conveyor lines.
This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This position receives general supervision and works according to standards.
Ensures that production standards are met by:
Transporting dough from mixer and hoisting above shoulders into hoppers.
Enters request into computer for a mix when dough table has depleted according to set standards.
Filling old dough tank.
Making malt and yeast as necessary by combining bags of malt and/or yeast with water blend, checking temperature, and recording numbers according to procedure.
Checking mixer, conveyor belts, and automated/manual delivery systems to detect and correct problems and malfunctions in areas such as the mixer, conveyor belts, dough bot, loaf cutter, and electronic eyes according to procedures. Listening for alarms and/or lasers to detect problems.
Perform routine procedures to ensure systems run properly such as cleaning of blades, cleaning of electronic eyes and replacement of waste hoppers.
Maintains specifications by observing operations and:
Inspecting for out of specification product and taking action to remove misshapen pretzels, holes and ensure pretzel rods are forming straight.
Performing weight checks, checking and recording dough temperatures, checking and adjusting cutter speeds, collecting test samples, and adjusting extruder speed.
Checking to ensure that mixes are weighing properly.

Kleen Test Products has Chemical Compound Blender- Batch Mixer openings. Looking for a great career mixing and blending?
Two Shifts available – 2nd 2:45p to 10:45p or 3rd 10:45p to 6:45a, Monday through Friday.
What does a KTP Batch Compounder do?
- Manufacture large batches of Household Cleaners for our liquid fill lines using wet and dry chemicals.
- Verify pre-weighed materials and ingredients.
- Weigh, measure, and mix liquids, solids, and powders in correct order.
- Use scales and thermometers in auditing batches.
- Ensure product and process effectiveness and purity.Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.

- Requires a High School Diploma or GED and one to three months of related experience and/or training; 1-2 years of OTC and personal care bulk manufacturing is desired but would consider process oriented manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must have basic knowledge of spreadsheets, email, and inventory/manufacturing software programs.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
