HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Follow the recipe! – Stocking and adding all batch ingredients and insuring that all formulas are correct and ingredient usage by recipe is accurate while maintaining all required paperwork (like batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)
Quality, quality, quality! – You will be starting up batter mix systems during your shift start up and after clean up. You will also be monitoring all mixing area equipment to visually inspect batches for color, viscosity, and mix vortex before approval and transfer
Best Practices = Best Results! – You will be performing product safety checks and reporting any negative findings immediately to your supervisor or line lead. In addition you will be conducting sanitation checks and general clean up of work area before and after shift

Ensure proper preparation of doughs according to formula and scheduled standards. Position requires demon-stration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensures consistency on all doughs by proper scaling and time and temperature control according to production standards.
Maintains schedule by getting dough mixed efficiently and to dividers on time in order to maintain production flow.

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for the monitoring and operation of the Auto Palletizer. The Auto Palletizer Operator sets up the controls for the Auto Palletizer, retrieves necessary materials to set up operation and fills in for the Lead to watch over the overall operation of the area.

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for being able to complete all tasks associated with producing paint according to work standards. Along with the other team members in the production, this employee has the general responsibility of contributing to site and company goals.
Major tasks include:
Retrieve and read the production schedules to determine which batches need to be produced during the shift.
Perform all start up, shut down, change over and prebatching procedures as stated in the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Transfer liquids via pumps and able to read meters. Open and dump bags of raw materials into appropriate mixing tanks.
Read the formula in order to add correct ingredients and combine ingredients in correct sequence.
Perform continuous quality inspection of product while documenting appropriate quality checks.
Work with QA technician to identify appropriate batch "hits" for color. Distinguish color and texture by seeing and feeling
Communicate effectively with packaging technicians to know when and where to pump paint, operator pumps correctly to ensure smooth flow of product.
Perform bulk materials unloading operations
Perform basic troubleshooting techniques must have the mechanical aptitude to understand proper machine setup and adjustments for safety and quality purposes and to respond to malfunctions.
Handle hazardous waste as part of manufacturing operations, maintenance, raw material handling, and clean up activities, in order to protect personnel, property and the environment.
Responsible for performing operator PMs as scheduled or instructed.
Ensure HKE standards are maintained by keeping work area clean and conducting a final cleaning near the end of each shift. Other housekeeping duties as assigned.
