- Consistently follow established bakery recipes and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) at all times with a high level of accuracy and consistency. Standards include, but are not limited to:
- Checking ingredients before mixing
- Accurately scaling all ingredients
- Checking time and temperature of mix
- Carefully following batch control forms
- Inspect and setup mixers and workstation prior to start up; properly clean up and secure equipment at end of sheet as per SOP’s

We are looking to grow our career driven team and are currently seeking a Mixer to work from our Keystone Pretzel manufacturing facility Located in Lititz, PA. The primary responsibility of this position will hold the individual to be responsible for mixing the dough and filling the hoppers on the extruders.
The ideal candidate for this position must be able to make changes quickly and accurately. The ability to read, write, speak and understand sufficient English to communicate with supervisors and co-worker is required in this role. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. The willingness and ability to work 3rd shift Monday -Friday11:00 PM - 7:30 AM is required in this role.
Follows product formula.
Mixes dough as necessary (do not mix ahead).
Maintains correct water temperature and mixing time.
Sets flour scale to correct weight and ensures scale fills properly.
Informs baker of silo changes as necessary.
Adjusts water poundage to achieve correct consistency.
Weighs/meters minor ingredients as necessary.
Restocks minor ingredients as necessary.
Periodically scrapes mixer.
Makes sour dough as necessary (4-8 hours setting time before use), wraps sour dough tubs andwashes tubs between uses.
Transfers dough from mixer to cart and moves cart to line.
Fills hoppers to correct levels.
Periodically scrapes hoppers and extruder.
Adjusts extruder motor speeds as necessary.
Checks and maintains product weights regularly.
Cleans cutter blades and clears blocked holes on die plates as necessary.
Ensures properly shaped pretzels are produced.
Reports all problems and changes to baker.
Correctly fills out mixer report.
Shuts off/starts up extruded as necessary.
Removes/replaces blades and heads during change-overs.
Empties dough from extruder as necessary.
Correctly installs/removes worms.
Installs/removes hoppers as necessary.
Washes heads as necessary, making sure all dies are open.
Keeps work area clean.
Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.

Production Mixer On 1St Shift ( Mon To Thu 4:00 Am To 2:30 Pm)
To properly perform any mixing job by mixing acceptable product, while ensuring a proper production flow, especially from mixing to the production lines.
- Understand how to properly set up, operate and wash down a mixer.
- To use FIFO ( First in, First out) method correctly.
- To properly place ingredients into containers.
- Must be able to fill out corresponding paper work for each product mixed.
- Must be able to complete all JDE transactions.
- Scale ingredients needed.
- To maintain a clean, safe and sanitary work area.
- Participate in the yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- Must adhere to the plant’s policies and plans
- Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Prior Mixing Experience
- Food manufacturing experience is preferred
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills.

Painter / Mixer
Work from verbal instructions, work orders, trim and finish drawings, pick sheets, and technical drawings. Perform Paint and Buffing operations on all piece components. Perform finish and high end buffing operations composite, sheet metal, and veneer and kydex pieces with appropriate paint per specifications. Make all final touch up and corrections necessary to assure compliance to all quality and specification requirements.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
Mix customer paint at customers request for production use as well as color match for customer requirements.
Perform cleaning masking and final preparation prior to paint process.
Perform application of multiple final color coats of lacquers, enamel and clear coat finish on components.
Perform buffing for high end veneer and hydro print components.
Prioritize and ensure timely turnaround of work orders.
Understand and utilize trim and finish drawings, work orders, job cards, and verbal/written instructions to properly complete all piece part components.
Set up and use all types of paint hold fixtures and jigs to complete components.
Make all final checks, cleaning and touch up required for completed finished components.
Handling and working with high grade paint materials commonly used is Super First Class Seating.
Ensure conformance to blueprints, written procedures, and quality specifications
Move materials to and from work position
Keep accurate records and make reports in accordance with work performance requirements
Smoothly and efficiently meet all production and quality standards.
Certify quality of work.
Identify and notify supervision of non-compliance difficulties
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report all discrepancies to management.
Represent B/E Aerospace, Inc. in a professional and businesslike manner at all times.
TYPICAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT INVOLVED:
- Dual Action Sanders, spray gun, scissors, razor blades, buffers and any other hand tool required in the finish painting and buffing components process.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

4 years' experience high-end paint finish coverings
Ability to complete, understand and apply the following:
Paint prep, buffing priming and finish Level A and B
Blueprint Reading 1 and 2
Paint Material Handling
Sherwin Williams/Manckwitz paint process
Must become a Certified Operator and acquire a Quality Stamp for the Covering area within 90 days of becoming a Painter A
Working knowledge of basic shop math
Ability to fill out standard forms and records
Understanding of all data collection devices and computers, and the ability to enter and retrieve data from PCs as required
Ability to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Industrial Baking Ingredient Mixer
This is a full-time position with primary responsibilities including: planning, coordinating, organizing and overseeing the formulation, mixing and baking of a variety of products while ensuring consistency in adherence to strict company quality policies and procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring quality ingredients and verifying receipt of baking supplies.
