This is an hourly position.
The role of the mixer is responsible for the following duties:
Set up, operate and maintain packaging equipment with minimal instruction.
Read and understand floor travelers and batch sheets assigned, as well as any other documentation needed for each production SKU.
Maintain work areas and equipment in an organized, clean and working condition.
Be able to safely troubleshoot mechanical problems during packaging and to immediately identify problems during packaging (i.e., material shortage, quality issue, etc.).
Must be capable of learning all tear down procedures, as well as cleaning practices for related equipment.
Must be able to operate and calibrate all coating equipment according to established guidelines.
Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.

The roll clamp operator is responsible for operating a variety of material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The equipment utilized in these functions is forklifts, slip sheets, and clamps.
Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods, exercising care to position product on forks to avoid product damage.

The Mixing Technician will monitor work processes primarily in the downstairs mixing area as well as downstream customer usage and needs with the goal of minimizing their downtime. This person will be required to learn the various mixing processes in order to further reduce mechanical and electrical downtime and will ensure that raw material and finished goods adhere to correct inventory FIFO system. To perform & verify the room release status before starting the Mixing and Granulation operation. To verify the weighing scales and checks the calibration status before starting the ingredient verification operation.

This position is on 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:30pm.
Compiles dimensions of stock, sequence of machining operations, and type and size of thread from charts and specifications
Selects, installs, and adjusts threading die, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure tripping mechanism, cams, gears and pulleys.
Sets feed rails, parts bowl, and roller sorter to ensure quality parts.
Adjusts speed control knobs to synchronize transfer and ejection of stock with machine action.
Selects correct SEMS components (washers) and loads into machine.
Complies with all safety regulations and TS161949 policies.

Maintains, oils, and cleans machines on a regular basis. Drains and cleans oil trays; dumps scrap and sweeps floors to maintain housekeeping standards.
Recognize and inspect quality issues and troubleshoots process or quality issues with engineers to correct and document.
