Provide shift-focused supervision to the mixing associates
Communicate routinely with a professional manner with associates to assure that all understand the day's production schedule, key issues, and challenges
Provide supervision to the production of products during their shift assuring the implementation and monitoring of good manufacturing practices, quality and safety standards, QA monitoring and continuous improvement
Participate in overseeing maintenance, sanitation, equipment, and organization on each shift for the plant
Identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues
Assure daily documentation, analysis and trending of data regarding production, waste, maintenance issues, safety issues, employee issues and any other incidents. Assure the implementation of all identified food quality and food safety standards, laws, good manufacturing practices, training and continuous improvement
Ensures production resources including materials, equipment, and people resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules.
Identify and document the skills, performance opportunities, learning needs, time and attendance of each production associate and teaches routinely
Assure all associates are consistently trained in all required standards and expectations, including temporary employees
Keep work environment clean, safe and positive
Manage production performance against plant goals in safety, quality, CPS, cost, customer service and culture
Manage and supervise all OSHA compliance training for production employees, including temporary employees
Work with the management team to develop safe work practices and implement them for effective safety that result in zero recordable and lost time accidents and encourages safe work performance
Exudes a high degree of inter-personal skills and has the ability to work well with everyone
Assure fair and consistent application of policies, procedures, and discipline
Follows and enforces standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA and assures associates are consistently trained in these standards and comply with all requirements

Entry Level Role in the Mixing department. The Mixing operator is responsible for operation of the Mixing and Granulation equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance to ensure the production of quality products. *Essential Functions:
To verify the room release status before starting the Mixing and Granulation operation. Learn and Operate Mills, Co-Mills, Vibro Sifter, and Loading/Unloading Drying Ovens with Trays.
Perform “A” and “B” cleaning of “V” blenders and PIAB. Maintain dedicated equipment list and follow meticulously as per established process. ( “A” cleaning is performed twice or three times per month before changing to different product or as required by SOP, “B” cleaning takes one hour and performed after each batch of same product & potency in each shift) * Operate or tend machines to mix or blend or Granulate any of a wide variety of materials into machinery/equipment. Observes production and monitors equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
To verify the weighing scales and checks the calibration status. Check and verify the ingredient weighed in Pharmacy against PBR entries, report any discrepancy to Supervisor or designee.
Check/Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance establish Standards Procedure. Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards.
Record entries of each step after completion and maintain the Production batch record after each batch. Keep room neat, clean and organized at all time.

Manufacturing Mixing Technician
Mixer Technicians needed to pour, measure and mix product ingredients. Successful candidates will have good basic math and computer skills. Job requires employee be able to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis and be standing for 12 hours. Dress code includes steel toe shoes, jeans with no holes, clean t-shirt, and hair net. Due to nature of product produced in facility, employees are not able to wear jewelry (on body or in piercings) or make up. Upon formal offer a background check and drug test will be conducted. Starting pay range is $13-14.00 per hour.
