Main Duties & Responsibilities
Review production orders scheduled to run on a daily and weekly schedule.
Color- make sure color feed does not run low, communicate with Quality Control especially when color running low.
Coordinates Molding Machine production; orders to be run on daily basis, according to production schedule and order specification.
Fills in orders and color running.
Cycle time- makes sure cycle time is recorded, and if any cycle time changes, makes sure is noted.
Shift change – must communicate with next shift any changes/concerns/problems.
Shift change walk through; check machine for excessive drywell/plastic build up, excess could damage wiring on machine.
Ensures all production is recorded properly.
Set & start up production jobs while using current process procedures and databases for documenting and troubleshooting.
Make necessary mold changes.
Evaluate molding processes to update and improve quality while maintaining safety & productivity.
Equipment problems, be able to repair the following; core top changes, Core pull switches and sensors, O-rings on tooling, mold tips, air valves on Husky for SSB, Fuses on mold temperature controllers, Hydraulic cylinders on molds, Hydraulic hoses from mold to machine inspection and replacement, water hoses from mold machine to inspection and replacement. If unable to repair must call for assistance from Production Supervisor/Maintenance Manager.
Line clearances before and after change overs to be completed in accordance to company process.
Housekeeping; maintain work area cleanliness; example, caps, color, material.
End of shift- must ensure all paperwork is completed neat, accurate, and readable; shift end report for each machine, record all information, example; any problems/trouble shooting during shift, and corrective action.
Record any changes to machine to correct problem, such as flash/thread/ trap caps.
Perform preventative maintenance on molding machines & other equipment such as electric and hydraulic mold machines, hot runner tooling, and associated machinery as necessary.
Monitor Whiteboard Production collection of data.
High school diploma.
Possess knowledge in repairs and maintenance of processing equipment and systems within a manufacturing facility.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, equipment manuals.
Previous experience with 200-500 ton machines.
3-5 years previous experience.
Must be available to work any shift assigned, or as required to meet production demand.
Technical background in lining machines and/or high speed assembly.
Manufacturing process development and control.

- Inventory of items that have experienced water, fire, or smoke damage

Mold Maintenance Technician
Seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician-Mold on 2nd shift. This is a direct hire position located in Newnan, GA. Great company with excellent benefits.
Perform modification, maintenance and repair of molds, mold inserts, core pins, ejector plates, hydraulic cylinders, flow diverters, hydraulic and water lines/fittings, electrical heater bands, thermocouples, limit switches, and related wiring.
Rigging and transporting molds in plant.
Establish and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all mold maintenance defects and repair activity.
Establish and maintain preventive maintenance tasks, work standards and records for SMC and Injection Molds.
Perform TIG welding, Mold Grinding and Polishing to SPI A2 finishes, repair of parting lines including rolled edges and repair/modification of venting along parting lines.
Read basic electrical schematics and interpret tooling drawings.
Use of precision mechanical and manual instruments and tools.
Education / Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a production support role performing Injection or SMC mold repair.
Other Required Skills:

We are currently seeking a Mold Assembly Operator for a contract opportunity in Conroe, TX. Our client offers oilfield services and products worldwide, making it one of the largest oil field service companies, with operations in over 70 countries.
The Mold Assembly Operator will be responsible for:
Assist brazing operation by installing cutters, applying flux and setting cutters in correct positions as directed by Brazer.
Saw, drill and chip graphite mold and cores away from casting.
Glass bead blast residual graphite as necessary.
Prepare bit for brase operation by grinding, polishing and fitting PDC cutters to pockets.
Clean, apply flux and thermal blanket to casting and place in warming furnace to bring bit to specified temperature for brazing operation.
Perform final grinding and cleaning of the casting to make it cosmetically perfect.
Complete final stenciling, painting and boxing of bit after final inspection.
Will be using various hand tools.

Blow Mold Machine Operator employees are responsible for the operation of multiple blow molding machines and vision systems using written work instructions and computer interface. Requires a general understanding of overall manufacturing process and the ability to understand and follow basic good manufacturing practices. Qualified candidates are responsible for starting and maintaining Blowmold Machine Operation with a complete and overall understanding in the assigned area of responsibility.
Specific Responsibilities / Essential Functions
1.Responsible for insuring that all machines within the scope of responsibility are kept running and producing quality bottles while insuring the least amount of down-time possible. This includes communicating problems to on-coming shift personnel.
2.Responsible for completing all mold changes and set-ups. Minor maintenance activities are required.
3.Demonstrate organizational ability to complete daily clean-up assignments, and adequately maintain good housekeeping throughout the entire area of responsibility.
4.Directly responsible for the proper support to Injection Machine Operators and all other team members to ensure a positive team environment.
5.Checks and monitors quality on all assigned machines by understanding and recognizing all visual quality defects and how to make appropriate adjustments to correct quality defects.
6.Maintains all required documentation of quality checks and testing, process checks, downtime, housekeeping and data entry.
7.Displays a full understanding and working knowledge of all related software and other equipment required for efficient production of quality product.
8.Follows all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Amcor "No Injuries Safety Contract" and as trained. Understands and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers and Supervisors. Properly uses all required personal protective equipment.
