4 days one week/3 days the next

Operate injection molding machines, answer bells and check for stuck parts
Attend required shift communication meeting prior to start of shift.
Understand and complete scheduled color changes, conversions and set-ups
Read and interpret visual inspection criteria, mold maps and mold/product supplemental information
Visually inspect product according to inspection plans including color matching
Must be able to safely use re-grind machines
Clean machines in molding areas
Understand lock out/tag out procedure

A leading manufacturer in Milford, NH is looking for a qualified Mold Operator to join their growing team! This is a 2nd shift position, but you will be required to train on 1st shift for two weeks.
2nd Shift- 3:00pm-11:30pm
- Responsible for operating and rending metal or plastic molding, core making, or casting machines to mold or cast metal or thermoplastic parts or products.
- Pour liquid or powdered material into molds to form components for electric motors, generators, and other mechanisms: weighs specified amounts of materials into mixing machine and starts machine
- Position assemblies into mold cavity using spacer blocks and pilot pins
- Pours mixture into mold and allows mixture to set in press or harden in furnace
- Removes assembly from mold and scraps hardened material with knife and rasp to trim to specified size
- Cuts, bends, shapes and bolts together pieces of metal to adapt of improvise assembly fixtures to hold parts in mold

Job Description Perform duties assigned by department supervisor. Use of essential measuring equipment including: micrometers, calipers, etc.
Safe operation of all machines/equipment essential in performing duties assigned. Accurately complete paperwork required for production records, labor reports, SPC charts, scrap, tags, etc. Work in a safe manner, while strictly following all safety rules and regulations.
