Mold Operator - Sand Mold Division 1St Shift

What You Will Be Doing
Operates different types of molding machines in order to produce metal castings for LSI customers.
Checks the shop packet for general and part specific work instructions.
Ensures proper placement of chills in molds.
Assembles flask, pattern and follow board on molding table of machine.
Sifts sand over pattern, using riddle, and fills flask with sand by opening hopper or using shovel.
Packs sand around pattern contours, using ramming tool or pneumatic hammer.
Cuts pouring spout and vents in mold, using sprue cutter and wire. Lifts cope half of flask off drag half and removes pattern.
Other duties as assigned
Inspects machines and other related equipment to ensure correct molds, meeting customer specifications.
Inspects pattern equipment and tools for defects prior to set up on the molding machine.
Does basic preventative maintenance on molding machine prior to set up.
Reports all machine and production issues to the shift supervisor.
Maintenance Manager - Injection Mold
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all equipment for the plant. They will develop, implement and improve process control systems on all plant equipment.
- Initiate preventive maintenance programs to minimize maintenance cost of all production equipment.
- Executes assignments related to maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Responsible for relocating machinery and/or equipment; dismantling and removing obsolete or worn out machinery and/or equipment.
- Plans the performance of preventative maintenance activities based upon personal knowledge and interval records of equipment wear and the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding service.
- Develops and maintains key, preferred suppliers and spare part inventories.
- Schedules work to prevent idle time and to provide maximum machine utilization.
- Schedules overtime work among maintenance employees to equalize overtime fairly.
- Determines priority of maintenance job back-log and schedules work accomplished.
- Responsible for up-grading the effectiveness of maintenance personnel.

Extrusion Blow Mold Technician
- Follow all safety rules and position standard operating procedures
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and/or overhaul plant facilities, equipment and machines
- Monitor and maintain material handling systems
- Perform machine set ups for job changes and repairs
- Maintain a safe clean work environment, to include but not limited to overall cleanliness and appearance of the machine area

Clean and maintain production tools and molds.

Mold & Machine Technician
With guidance and direction from the Process & Maintenance Engineer the Mold & Machine Technician will complete changeovers, perform maintenance, and complete repairs on all injection molding machinery, molds and related auxiliary and automation equipment used in the injection molding and assembly operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete changeovers as per schedule in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Ensure proper use of crane, HiLo, and mold carts
Ensure proper connections of electrical, hydraulic, and cooling systems to the mold.
Maintain and repair all machinery, molds, and related equipment in a timely manner while upholding the highest quality standards of work.
Document and report status of all maintenance and repair work performed on the machinery and equipment.
Work with suppliers as needed to troubleshoot and maintain machinery.

MOLD MAKER - Seeking skilled journeyman mold maker to repair and maintain all molds/tooling and build spare parts for production and maintenance. This is a full-time, direct-hire, 1st shift opportunity. Build and repair all types, sizes, and shapes of rubber injection molds with the ability to assemble and test complex tools and molds in the production phase. As a Mold Maker, you will be responsible for utilizing all mold shop tools/equipment and interpreting 2D/3D drawings for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and engineering changes on company injection molds and mold parts.
