DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3rd Shift Sunday- Thursday 10:00pm-6:30am SUMMARY
Clean and inspect molds used in the production of rubber molded parts. Perform light maintenance duties on molds.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions as defined by the ADA, except those that begin with the word 'may".)
Clean molds using mold cleaning machine.
Inspect mold cavities for damage; inspect and, if necessary, replace o-rings, spring hanging bolts and sleeves; drill out vacuum lines; perform general maintenance on molds.
Inspect mold plates for flaking of coating
Enter information into inspection logbook.
Maintain mold inventory book and all associated paperwork.
Tag and put molds and dies in proper location. Make labels for molds.
Assist with breaking-down and setting up molds on base plate.
Keep track of media usage, both incoming and outgoing.
Use power truck to lift and move molds on/off racks and floor.
Follows the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the equipment if unable to resolve.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Follows EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports personal injuries and unsafe conditions and helps to resolve them.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Ability to operate the mold cleaning machines.
Ability to identify mold issues including what constitutes damaged cavities, when o-rings need to be replaced, the flaking of coating, and other general maintenance issues.
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks including replacing o-rings.
Ability to breakdown and set up molds on base plate.
Ability to read and understand press cards, procedures, work instructions, safety rules and warning signs
Basic math skills to perform simple arithmetic calculations.
Analytical abilities necessary to plan and prioritize own work, complete work on schedule and maintain required records and logs.
Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information with variety of staff.
Forklift truck license and ability to use power trucks to lift and move molds on and off racks and floor.

Injection Mold Setter 2Nd Shift
Job Title: Mold Setter
Department: Injection Molding
Second shift: 3:45pm-12:15am
Reports To: Production Manager, Molding Supervisor/Lead

Supervise the work of others: No
The Mold Setter will be responsible for changing molds (both installation and removal), changing materials, and ensuring machines are clean.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This list is not comprehensive but meant to represent the most common or important duties of the position. Other duties are required and/or assigned:
Able to perform mold changes on machines, both installation and removal
Perform proper disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of injection molds
Report any mold wear or damage to Supervisor and Head of tooling department
Perform set-up of injection molds
Troubleshoot machine and mold complications
Strong attention to detail and safety-oriented
Safely operate overhead crane and gantry systems
Ensure that all work is completed without creating any damage to machines, molds, or auxiliary equipment
Responsible for material handling and accurately reading bills of material to ensure accuracy in all setups and material feeding system setups
Perform material changeovers, both plastic pellets and liquid silicone buckets/drums
Cleaning machine hoppers, lines and molds
Responsible for the proper teardown, cleaning and re-assembly of liquid silicone processing equipment
Complete all work and task related documentation
Maintain cleanliness of machines and working areas.
Assist with cleaning the molding room
Report and consult with Process Engineer and Supervisor/Lead on all technical issues or identified non-conformances.
Notify persons in charge of any non-standard or sub-optimal injection molding processes or mold issues as well as quality and safety issues.
Ensure safety adherence.
Ensure that established policies, procedures, rules and regulations are understood and followed.
Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and documentation
Assist with general building maintenance as needed

Experience and Skills:
HS Diploma or equivalent
Prior mold setting experience
Able to lift 60 lbs
Previous experience in an injection molding environment with knowledge of injection molding machines
Properly setting up water lines on molds
Properly torque bolts
Self-motivated, and flexible
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, manuals, or governmental regulations.

Equipment Used: Pallet Jack, lift truck, hand tools, ladders, computer, basic office equipment, multi-meters, amp meters, calipers, air compressor, etc. Hand tools and equipment are supplied by AMT.

We currently are accepting applications for Sheetmetal Mechanics for our Fort Worth Construction Group who will be responsible for assembling, installing and repairing HVAC systems and installing these systems according to specifications and appropriate trade and building codes. These systems may consist of air handling equipment, control boxes, air conditioning ducts, grease ducts and hoods, ventilators, grills and louvers or other sheetmetal products and equipment. This position reports to a Foreman and performs other job related duties as required.
We seek candidates with at least four (4) years of sheetwork experience in the mechanical contracting industry. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and details as well as perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools. Key Responsibilities (Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):
Employee will read and comprehend specifica-tions, blueprints, operating manuals, and follow all instruc-tions and written procedures.
Install injection molds in a clean room environment and verify set up documentation prior to starting up machines and automation.
Employee will work with the Quality department on start up approval.
