Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
1.Open and unpack shipments of textbooks.
2.Review purchase orders, packing slips, and shipments to determine that the order is correct and complete.
3.Document order receipts and inform the school's textbook manager regarding the status of each purchase order.
4.Stamp each student textbook with school stamp and rotational numbering stamp.
5.Organize books and/or move them to various classrooms, bookrooms, or departments as needed.

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Under the direction of the Associate Supervisor the Stamper is responsible for the operation of various stamping machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for checking tooling and material to ensure they match the customer requirements.
Set up presses and make all necessary adjustments to run the machine.
Responsible for first piece inspection to ensure that the parts meet the customer specifications.
Responsible for reporting any problems to the Lead/Setup person and or Supervisor.
Responsible for end run inspection of parts to ensure produced parts meet customer requirements.
Responsible for the safe operation of all stamping machines and tools used in the stamping areas.
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
Operates the Parts Degreaser.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must be able to use all measuring equipment needed for first piece and end run inspections.
Bindery Operator - Hot Foil Stamper

Injection Mold Setup Tech (2Nd Shift)
This role is responsible for operation of injection molding machines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualify new molds
Work closely with VE to refine our current set ups.
Work closely with the VE group to introduce new products.
Work on implementing our process team action items or objectives.
Communicate any unnecessary downtime of equipment within the department to other set up techs, supervisors or maintenance group.
Monitor product flow and schedule for accuracy.
Troubleshoot and communicate technical issues to Electrical engineers or VE group by gathering pertinent information.
Schedule IM when supervisor on vacation.
Setup / operate /changeover / troubleshoot injection molding machines & robots and associated auxiliary equipment to ensure quality levels are maintained.
Install and extract molds (quick changeover) and Transport molds to/from tool room.
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime such as non-return valve changes, nozzle changes, screws & barrels changes, mold changes, dryers, grinders, etc.
Keep area clean and organized
Perform required quality check such as size checks, cosmetic checks, 1st piece check, etc.
Make sure proper material, molds, equipment are available for each production run
Load /Unload material into machines
Teamwork and job rotation required within the department

This position is responsible for executing technical projects related to process improvements, new product commercialization, and cost savings while assisting the manufacturing operation with administrative and technical support.
