- Design, verify ,and follow up with tooling for each product
- Design and develop new injection molds and tooling
- Verify, check and buy off molds and tooling
- Improve overall processes and related issues by taking a pro-active lead in Continuous Improvement Activities.
- Program tracking and follow up of new program tooling scheduled.
- Project leader for molds and tools related engineering changes.
- Injection mold and tooling support during on-line troubleshooting and implementation of corrective actions
- Communicate with contractors and shops for outside repairs.
- Develop spare parts for injection molds and tool
- Develop injection mold and tool maintenance plan
- Repair injection mold like welding/spotting
- Degree in mechanical engineering or similar. Associate's degree with additional experience may also be considered

This person will complete assigned engineering tasks as needed to build components for engineering projects. Use various machining techniques to produce a quality plastic part that meets the requirements of the customer and provide tooling support.
2nd shift 2PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri (5% shift differential)
3rd shift 10PM-6:30AM Sun-Thu (15% shift differential)
4th shift 6AM-6:30PM Fri, Sat, & Sun (15% shift differential)

Clean and maintain production tools and molds.
Build components for new tools, existing tools and molds through the use of tool room equipment, using designs created by the engineering department. Read and interpret plans from paper drawings or computer files.
Using toolmakers scope, measures, examines, diagnoses and trouble-shoots existing molds to make improvements or corrections repairs.
Work with project leaders to ensure that projects are finished quickly and precisely.
Education/Experience. High school education coursework or GED required.
Two-year tool & die degree or four years of experience in tooling or mold making preferred. Experience using tools such as metal saws, mills, grinders and lathes.
Computer Skills. Ability to operate personal computer. Knowledge of Windows based CAD programs such as Master cam, AutoCAD and Solid Works.
Language Skills. Ability to read, comprehend, and utilize instructions and short correspondence with professionals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.
Mathematical Skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratios, percent and use trigonometry. Ability to read and understand complicated designs and drawings.

Mold Cleaner - 3Rd Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3rd Shift Sunday- Thursday 10:06pm-6:18am SUMMARY
Clean and inspect molds used in the production of rubber molded parts. Perform light maintenance duties on molds.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions as defined by the ADA, except those that begin with the word 'may".)
Clean molds using mold cleaning machine.
Inspect mold cavities for damage; inspect and, if necessary, replace o-rings, spring hanging bolts and sleeves; drill out vacuum lines; perform general maintenance on molds.
Inspect mold plates for flaking of coating
Enter information into inspection logbook.
Maintain mold inventory book and all associated paperwork.
Tag and put molds and dies in proper location. Make labels for molds.
Assist with breaking-down and setting up molds on base plate.
Keep track of media usage, both incoming and outgoing.
Use power truck to lift and move molds on/off racks and floor.
Follows the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports quality problems and shuts down the equipment if unable to resolve.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Follows EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly reports personal injuries and unsafe conditions and helps to resolve them.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Ability to operate the mold cleaning machines.
Ability to identify mold issues including what constitutes damaged cavities, when o-rings need to be replaced, the flaking of coating, and other general maintenance issues.
Ability to perform general maintenance tasks including replacing o-rings.
Ability to breakdown and set up molds on base plate.
Ability to read and understand press cards, procedures, work instructions, safety rules and warning signs
Basic math skills to perform simple arithmetic calculations.
Analytical abilities necessary to plan and prioritize own work, complete work on schedule and maintain required records and logs.
Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information with variety of staff.
Forklift truck license and ability to use power trucks to lift and move molds on and off racks and floor.

We are currently seeking a Blow Mold Technician for our PET bottle production team.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Safely and proactively operate, troubleshoot, and optimize PET blow mold and support equipment
Meet performance targets for blow molding
Ensure proper setup of blow mold machines
Monitor and adjust bottle processes to optimize bottle quality and correct defects, including the completion of hourly quality checks
Manage bottle silo level, merge/dump gate setup, and blower speeds
Routinely communicate with up/down stream operators to maximize line performance
Execute preform and bottle changeovers
Maintain machine adjustment logs
Comply with sanitation standards, adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow contamination prevention and machine cleaning procedures
Become proficient in facility specific blow molder equipment operations & troubleshooting
Use troubleshooting to correct downtime issues
Communicate with maintenance on machine performance issues, submit work requests for corrective maintenance
Cross train and perform duties of other team members as needed
Assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and rebuilds as needed
Key qualifications include:
High school diploma or GED; additional technical training or certifications desired
Prior experience operating PET blowmold equipment, troubleshooting blowmold components (i.e. t-arm, spindle, blowing valves) and processing experience is needed
Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)
Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively
Solid problem solving and decision making skills
Comfort working in a high speed production environment
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 business operating through most weekends and holidays
Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview

Mold Maker Main Duties/
Responsible for all aspects of too/mold design, new product development, and production of parts, jigs, and fixtures.
Performs repairs, set-up, and trouble- shooting of molds and dies; following prints and other written and verbal specifications.
Studies blueprints, sketches, models, work instructions, and specifications to produce fabricating tools, dies, injection molds, jigs, fixtures and assemblies using a variety of machine operations within close tolerances.
Conducts test runs with completed tools, mold, or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications. Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, etc.
Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated and/or from made-to-print items.
Confers with Engineers, Production Personnel, Programmers, or others to resolve product and/or equipment issues. Works with Engineering to develop new products, tools, and processes.
Demonstrates familiarity and consistently complies with all ISO/TS standards and practices.

Takes all trash to dumpster.
Cover for other Mold Operator during breaks.
Pulls samples and submits to lab as required.
