DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUMMARY: Operates a range of manufacturing equipment for the production of rubber molded sealing products within assigned team. Inspects parts for conformance with quality criteria. This position is the entry level for the Rubber Molder job family.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate multiple combinations of equipment and tools in assigned team.
Complete daily production paperwork including move tickets, quality log sheets and safety checks.
Perform 100% trim and inspection and identify and segregate scrap.
Identify and explain process, material and equipment problems and notify supervisor or other appropriate individual.
Count (including weigh counting), package and box parts according to work instructions and/or customer requirements.
Maintain a neat and orderly workstation consistent with our industrial housekeeping (5S) standards.
Move parts or other products or materials by hand or using a hand truck.
Perform SPC charting as necessary.
Follow the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggest ways for continual improvement.
Promptly report quality problems and shut down equipment if unable to resolve.
Follow EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly report personal injuries and unsafe conditions and help resolve them.
Operate all combinations of presses and tools within assigned team, consistently producing parts of the highest quality.
Ability to read and understand bills of materials, routings, work instructions and other shop paperwork.
Ability to complete production process documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Description: SummarySet-up, operate, optimize, changeover/troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment for efficient and safe operation of the Rubber COE Lab. Responsible for meeting production standards, maintaining product quality, minimizing/preventing equipment downtime, and sustaining budgeted waste levels on a daily basis.
1.Has detailed operational knowledge of the equipment to the point that he/she can operate within specified quality/quantity limits.
2.Programs electronic scale to establish accurate target weight for each product.
3.Stage packaging supplies and shipping containers as required meeting COE lab schedule.
4.Sets up and debugs equipment to the specifications listed in plant policies and department procedures.

Module Molder 3rd Shift
Set up and operate Hunter molding machine to produce green sand molds. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

Inspect and ensure core quality and match for job being run per process instructions.

Make minor adjustments or repairs to the machine and assist maintenance in other repairs as necessary.
Record production, delay, scrap, broken mold, broken core or other information in appropriate log or database.

SOUTH DEERFEILD Foam Fabricator - 3rd Shift Perform various operations to prepare and construct foam sub-components and inserts to fit and cushion container configurations and sizes. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Work from tech sales drawings, email, Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, written and/or verbal instructions.
Set up and perform routine operations including cutting, drilling, laminating and pressing equipment such as vertical, horizontal and profile saws, die cutting press, and glue applicators. Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances. Cutting involves routine cuts, notching, etc.
Layout sub-components for assembly through lamination and pressing operations. Perform other routine operations as specifically instructed.
