Position Overview * Responsible for developing new products that meet customer requirements in an efficient, fast and friendly manner, while managing risk and liability of business decisions. Business Development Manager - Packaging - Folding Cartons And Labels
A multi-billion dollar communications provider with locations around the world is looking for a Business Development Manager for their folding carton and label business. This is an INSIDE position but would also include around 20% travel to customer sites. This position will be the conduit between the company's direct sales representatives, Account Managers, the Design Department, Planning, Estimating, and Customer Service.
This individual will be measured by achieving sales quota and meeting goals set by management (based on revenue and the number of new Folding Carton and Prime Label accounts secured). The BDM will help drive the division's new business development initiatives by proactively supporting the reps and navigating orders through the system. You will be the subject matter expert for the business and will provide training, sales support, and solutions selling.
The successful candidate will need to have the following:
- Substantial knowledge in both folding cartons and prime labels
- 5-7 years consultative, B2B solutions experience in Folding Carton and/or Prime Labels

Responsible for the efficient and safe operation and quality of an assigned section of machines or department. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Checks the master and daily department schedules for any changes, repairs, special instructions, or other tasks.
- Sets and monitors machine contrast, mixture machine blender, regulates temperatures, volume of plastics, and monitors pressure and time.
- Maintains all machines as per control standards, and ensures the monitor, plug, cycle sheets and any other documentation are updated and accurate.
