Job Description Summary
Set up and operate Hunter molding machine to produce green sand molds. Perform all tasks with safety and quality in mind and in accordance with established procedures and process instructions. Take necessary action to minimize delay time and maximize production.

Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.

Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
Set up and operate Hunter Molding Machines to produce acceptable quality molds used in the production of ductile iron castings.
Set cores, chaplets, and other molding aids into molds.
Observe molds being made, make adjustments to machine as necessary, and make recommendations to improve mold quality and machine productivity. Check mold hardness using a dial indicator.
Inspect and ensure core quality and match for job being run per process instructions.
Change patterns and machine set-ups as required.
Communicate with supervisor, mullor operator, melt, maintenance, or other departments regarding any problems affecting mold quality, production or safety.
Make minor adjustments or repairs to the machine and assist maintenance in other repairs as necessary.
Record production, delay, scrap, broken mold, broken core, or other information in appropriate log or database.
Required Skills and Education
1.Knowledge/Education Use and interpret adjustable measuring instruments.
2.Experience Over three months, up to one year.
3.Initiative and Ingenuity Judgment to perform work and make decisions as to setups and quality.

Molder Lead Hand
The Thermoform Team Lead is responsible for the efficient safe operation of machines, work environment, employee morale and meeting all KPI goals of the Thermoforming department.
Prepare daily production schedule and layout daily production runs, optimizing labor and CPU objectives by adjusting to production demands.
Ensure the team's productivity by holding daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to support, inform and incentivize the team.
Ability to receive inquiries and assist in the resolution of issues for team members, internal and external customers.
Ensure established work techniques (standard work instructions) are in place and performed daily by team members.
Maintain accurate/up to date data in KPI production report and department spreadsheets.
