Mix impregnation compounds following formulas outlined on process sheets independently
Maintain proper documentation including but not limited to oven charts, viscosity data, etc.; Audit oven charts
Soak, apply pressure, and vacuum as required
Select oven program functions independently
Perform electrical resistance, hi-pot, and surge testing on select parts as required
Certify expired materials according product specifications
Ensure appropriate inventory level of supplies, while ensuring all material is stored properly in location, and complies with proper expiration date ranges
Clean fixtures, vacuum chamber, vacuum hood, and tanks with solvents as required
Safely clean parts at high temperature exposures
Possess ability to perform multiple functions simultaneously (i.e. – while parts are curing, perform set up of other parts)
Perform daily machine preventative maintenance; Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products
Frequent interaction with internal and/or external customers and support functions (i.e. – Planners, Engineering) outside of home department. May act as primary contact for auditors
Assist in troubleshooting parts
Perform duties on proto-type or first time builds
Participate in and support team initiatives
Cross-train other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience
Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation

The Thermoform Team Lead is responsible for the efficient safe operation of machines, work environment, employee morale and meeting all KPI goals of the Thermoforming department.

This position is primarily responsible for setting up, including changing dies, and operating French presses to mold products from fiberglass materials. Additionally, these positions are responsible for inspecting, sanding, and buffing excess material from the hats, along with operating a riveting machine to apply rivets to various shells. These positions are also responsible for cutting raw material that is used within the process, and occasionally processing/milling, and molding rubber. Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to the production and the company's objective is required. In addition, these positions are responsible for maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.

SUMMARY: Operates a range of manufacturing equipment for the production of rubber molded sealing products within assigned team.
Inspects parts for conformance with quality criteria. This position is the entry level for the Rubber Molder job family.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate multiple combinations of equipment and tools in assigned team.
Complete daily production paperwork including move tickets, quality log sheets and safety checks.Perform 100% trim and inspection and identify and segregate scrap.
