DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shifts/Work Hours: 1st shift Sunday-Thursday Workweek
SUMMARY: Operates a range of manufacturing equipment for the production of rubber molded sealing products within assigned team.
Inspects parts for conformance with quality criteria. This position is the entry level for the Rubber Molder job family.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate multiple combinations of equipment and tools in assigned team.
Complete daily production paperwork including move tickets, quality log sheets and safety checks.
Perform 100% trim and inspection and identify and segregate scrap.
Identify and explain process, material and equipment problems and notify supervisor or other appropriate individual.
Count (including weigh counting), package and box parts according to work instructions and/or customer requirements.
Maintain a neat and orderly workstation consistent with our industrial housekeeping (5S) standards.
Move parts or other products or materials by hand or using a hand truck.
Perform SPC charting as necessary.
Follow the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggest ways for continual improvement.
Promptly report quality problems and shut down equipment if unable to resolve.
Follow EHS rules and regulations, participates in safety meetings and CBT, and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Promptly report personal injuries and unsafe conditions and help resolve them.
Operate all combinations of presses and tools within assigned team, consistently producing parts of the highest quality.
Ability to read and understand bills of materials, routings, work instructions and other shop paperwork.
Ability to complete production process documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to perform and document simple arithmetic calculations.
Understand manufacturing process and quality acceptance criteria for parts produced.
Complete production forms correctly and legibly.
Interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information with variety of staff.
Operate hand truck.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to forty pounds on a daily basis.
Ability to walk and move about, stoop and bend, and climb (ascend and descend) ladders.
Ability to stand and operate equipment for up to twelve hours.
Ability to reach and grab with arms and hands, and the manual dexterity to operate machines with precision.
Normal or corrected vision necessary to read directions and closely examine parts; and to distinguish colors.
Normal hearing in order to detect equipment and motor malfunctions.
Ability to pull, lift, and transport gaskets to and from various locations with the assigned location.
Work in areas that can be uncomfortable due to noise, odors, and temperature extremes.
Work regularly with machines where carelessness could result in cuts, bruises, burns or muscle pulls.
Serious injuries can be avoided if established safety precautions are followed.

At Davis Tool, a CNC Punch Operators safety set up and run our Amada Punches to punch/form a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
You download programs and set up tooling
You perform first article and in-process inspection
You ensure tooling is sharp and maintained
You will be responsible for the quality of your own work and will achieve time standards as well.
- You ensure equipment is clean, maintained and in good working order

Create programs for laser/punch press machines from various sources including CAD files, prints, routers and verbal instruction.
Specific duties include:
Set up laser/punch press machines and run parts as needed
Run jobs on laser/punch press equipment ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements

New Club Opening Asst PM - Punch List
The Assistant Project Manager for New Club Openings, Punchlist manages all construction punch list improvement efforts on behalf of LTF Operations for all Life Time Construction projects. They will develop, implement and administrate global methodology for construction punch list management from pre-GO through project closeout. The Punch List Manager will oversee the warranty process on behalf of LTF Operations through warranty expiration. They will also engage and professionally interact with Life Time Construction, Architecture and Design as well as professional consultants to ensure that construction punch list work and warranty work is uniformly managed throughout the project closeout phase.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manages all construction punch list items across all New Clubs under construction creating a project list of work not conforming to operational specifications and standards ensuring work is completed prior to Grand Opening. Some work may include but not limited to, incomplete or incorrect installations or incidental damage to existing finishes, material, and structures
Develops, implements and administrates global methodology for punch list management throughout the lifecycle of a construction project thru warranty closeout
Manages punch list of items to completion ensuring work satisfies project design and operational expectations
Generates and distributes Punch List Outstanding Items List to all respective parties including but not limited to COO, SVP Operations, VP Operations, EVP Construction, club operations and construction project team
Assists the construction team in project closeout and ensures all warranties and closeout documents are submitted properly and timely on behalf of LTF Operations
Attends pre-GO, 60-day and 11-month walk thru for assembly of Punch List and Warranty Claim List

Produces parts from sheet- metal to the specifications by setting up and operating precision fabrication equipment.
Set -up machine by installing correct tools and programs, Align machine on appropriate axis as indicated on set- up sheet, drawings and programs. Chooses metal sheets based on type and size required by process and or job ticked. Sets gauges on equipment to produce parts to specification. May be required to operate lift truck to move materials for manufacturer. Cleans and performs performs preventive maintenance on the machine.
Minimum of one year experience in related metal fabrication.
Attention to detail
Able to read shop drawings and specifications as they pertain to parts to be manufactured.
Competent at basic dimensional measuring including reading a tape measure an ruler.

Operates McNeil and Jing Day molding presses to ensure that the molding and extrusion processes are operating at maximum output while maintaining highest quality.
Inspects molded panels, and removes any defective parts.

Following the production schedule, obtains proper lubricating solution and stock. Uses spray gun to apply solution to mold. Prepares and loads stock into press and sets press into operation.

Removes molded sheets. Sprays lubricating solution as needed. Trims, maintains dimensional specifications, cuts to size, inspects for and removes defects. Disposes of scrap.
Uses appropriate checking devices to check conformity to standards.
Stacks molded runs on boards, identified with work tickets, and takes to designated staging area.
Prepares additional stock for future runs and obtains supplies and solutions as necessary.
Documents production on appropriate forms and SPC forms.
Keeps Area Manager informed of off-standard work and any unusual or unsafe conditions encountered.
In the event of breakdown or shortage of material in original assigned work area, performs other department assignments following work assignments procedures.
Follows all company policies, procedures, safety rules and safety regulations.
Maintains the work area in a neat and orderly condition. Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
Trains employees by using the On the Job Training Processes.
