Job Description This position is responsible for assisting in the manufacture and production of specified products and goods. This position requires a variety of work including, but not limited to packaging, inspection and rework of parts and finished goods.
1. Assists in manufacturing and producing products and goods using automated assembly equipment as directed or explained in related work instructions.
Performs gaging and documentation where applicable. 2. Operates assigned automated equipment including but not limited to supplying the machine with components, unjamming the machine, and packing completed parts 3. Places identification into each container of parts or finished goods unless alternate method has been established 4.
Stops process, isolates suspect material and alerts mechanic, quality assurance, or supervision if problem is found 5. Cleans assigned machine and work area 6. Moves any defective parts or assemblies to specified scrap containers

Responsibilities may include: * Machine Setups that involve changing of molds, setting a variety of limit switches to achieve proper mold height, stroke, closing, etc.
Set injection pressures, adjust material feed and back pressure and ram speed.
Set heat controls and timers.
Set up automatic product removal system and conveyor for automatic operation and adjust ejection system for proper removal of product.
Perform wiring hookups required for limit switches. Adjust ejection system for proper removal of product. Install necessary plumbing apparatus and connect temperature control equipment, parts separation equipment and wiring hookups.
Monitor operation of automatic equipment, unload parts, cut off sprue and gates and place in container. Spot check work and make adjustments to maintain tolerances.
Make minor repairs to fixtures and equipment and lubricate machines as required.
* Must have prior experience operating and setting-up molding machines. * Must have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Quality Assurance – Starting rate $10.50+ - Perform dimensional checks on all production lines. Demonstrate working knowledge of top load, visual inspections, leak tests and drop tests. Demonstrate working knowledge of SPC systems.

• Maintenance Tech – Starting Rate $16.00+ - Posses superior mechanical aptitude. Be able to fulfill PM requirements with little supervision. Demonstrate advanced skill and knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical. Basic knowledge of PLC’s and perform diagnostic and troubleshooting.
• We operate 24 hours a day/6 day per week. Most openings are on our 2nd or 3rd shift.
• 2nd shift is 3pm-11pm and 3rd shift is 11pm-7am. We pay $0.50/hour shift premium for 2nd and $1.00 shift premium for 3rd.
