Msf-Certified Msrc/Arc Motorcycle Instructor
This position will support the Air Force Safety Center (AFSEC) and designated Air Force installations in the execution of teaching Military Sportbike Rider Course (MSRC) and/or Advanced Rider Course (ARC) courses.
Instructors are to provide standardized motorcycle training to military members at designated Air Force Installations. The instructor will be responsible for facilitating MSRC and ARC classes which includes both classroom and range instruction.
The instructor will also be responsible for maintaining class paperwork, pre- class prep, and recording of all information to the web site and ensuring all completed paperwork is turned in to Cape Fox. Must possess MSRC/ARC certification in addition to basic MSF RiderCoach certification. Instructor should be an experienced sport bike rider with knowledge of characteristics of sport bike handling.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be responsible for performing tasks as promised and unsupervised. Must provide a motorcycle to demonstrate exercises.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
It will be the responsibility of the instructors to facilitate scheduled courses, handle all associated paperwork, and maintain a safe range environment. Responsible for securing all equipment.
Physical Requirements/Special Job Facts
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk on a motorcycle training range for an 8-hour period.
Must be able to ride a motorcycle in the demonstration of riding exercises.
Ability to tolerate extremes of weather.
Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results.
Long hours and weekends may be required to meet deliverables.

Motorcycle Range Aide (180417)
The Range Aide works under the supervision of the Motorcycle RiderCoaches during the two days of riding exercises on the motorcycle training range at JCCC.
The Range Aide will arrive one hour before class starts, gets the program golf cart and ferries RiderCoaches from range to the motorcycle storage area. Will make sure that all range supplies are on the motorcycle range at the beginning of class.
The Range aide assists with the set up of the course (various exercises that the students must ride) per the Range Aide manual. At the end of the class, Range Aide will make sure that all range supplies are returned to the motorcycle storage area and will assist the RiderCoaches with getting the motorcycles into a secured area.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Must be in good health and physically fit.
Background checks with motor vehicle record search will be required before assignment is finalized.

Vwcc Adjunct Faculty: Motorcycle Instructor
Virginia Western, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Roanoke Valley, is accepting applications for part-time, Motorcycle adjunct faculty positions on a continuous basis in the School of Business, Technology, and Trades. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed.
Responsibilities include teaching the basic rider safety course using MSF curriculum for licensing students to ride 2-wheel or 3-wheel motorcycles for classes taught on weekdays, nights and weekends. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and in trends in community college education.
