The purpose of the Forming Machine Operator is to assist in the production of high quality omelet fillings and egg products in the Forming Room. This person needs to possess an understanding of the operation and the products made, as well as the end users of products. The Forming Machine Operator will work along with Lead /Supervisor to insure efficiency in operations, and maintain a clean and safe production environment. The Forming Machine Operator is required to follow instruction (written or oral) from the Lead or Supervisor. Forming Machine Operators could do a variety of tasks including operate the bagger, mix product batches, and perform required QA product checks and maintain all proper documentation that allows for the smooth function of the Forming Room. All Forming Machine Operators must learn and have the ability to do these tasks as instructed by the lead or supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in breakdown and transfer of ingredients to Forming Room.
Assist in mixing batches and transferring to mixer and forming machines.
Assist in set-up of room prior to production - metal detector, bagger, and assemble corrugated totes for shipping as needed.
Ensure totes are properly labeled for shipping.
Operate and monitor bagger, transfer bags of product from bagger to metal detector to finished totes.
Perform required QA product and equipment checks at designated intervals.
Gather samples for lab testing during production at designated time intervals.
Deliver finished samples to lab at end of production.
Monitor production flow have the ability to determine if product meets proper specifications or not and take corrective action as needed, i.e. bad transfers, product integrity.
Enter finished product data into SAP at computer ice station.
Assist in returning unused ingredients to cooler at end of shift.
Remove waste receptacles to empty as needed during production.
Assist in the general good housekeeping of the area and maintain sanitary environment during production (clean-up floor, debris, re-fill hand sanitizers outside the Distribution area).
Assist in clean-up of room at end of production as time allows.
Expected to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained in order to maintain SQF Level 3 certification. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
No prior experience or training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

The Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center is a multi-use complex. Its primary purpose is to serve the horse and livestock industry by supplying a complex for shows and sales.
However, when not in use by primary users, events such as tractor pulls, motocross, car shows and sales, various civic, youth and farm meetings and many others are scheduled. This complex offers to the users a 168-acre site. At present, there are 11 buildings on the property.
There are 6 horse stall barns consisting of 456 permanent stalls, a 110,000 sq. ft. show arena, attached paddock and covered arena. Also, this facility offers assistance with marketing and promotion of horses and livestock.
This position will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Complex Manager to accomplish the overall objectives of the complex. This position is to provide equipment operations for the daily needs and routine maintenance schedule of the buildings, equipment and general operations.
This position will supervise Part – Time Staff. Safety is a top priority, so it is important that all safety rules and regulations are followed by this position at all times.
The Ag Center has a possibility of operating 364 days a year at which the individual will participate in weekend assignment, operating the Complex as dictated by the users of the Complex. This position's main schedule will be Wednesday – Sunday, however, it can and will vary.

Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time.

Operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision.
We need someone who can:
Communicate and reason proficiently with coworkers.
Perform basic math.
Obtain necessary production specifications.
Pass on information to co-workers/relay information to and from all employee levels including management and skilled personnel.
Work different ranges of hours such as overtime or weekend shifts (The hours for this position may change based on production schedule)
1-2 years of experience
So what's this job all about?
This position is responsible for safe operation of multiple manufacturing machines of moderate complexity.
Setting up and pre-running of the equipment to ensure proper production start up.
Controlling of line speeds, batch formula production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety.
Responsible for various quality checks.
Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime HACCP etc. utilizing SAP SOP's Safety operation training as appropriate.)
Conducting yourself and ensuring your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.
