About the job:
Works within the RTLP Division under the administrative supervision of the Directorate of Plans, Operations, Training, Mobilization and Security (POTM-S) who makes general assignments in terms of broadly defined missions or functions.
A day in the life:
Responsible for the direction, supervision, administration, operations, maintenance and facility support activities at the MPTR, IPBC and ISBC range complexes. These activities include training support, material control, quality assurance, utilities and facility support, safety, live fire evaluation and control (surface danger zone and area evaluation and management), security, and technical / business management.
Coordinates and oversees the operation of a modern multi purpose range complex's with supporting multiple weapon systems, 900 (MPTR / IPBC) and 200 (ISBC) acre complex's respectively. Performs duties based upon technical knowledge of range operations, live fire training and safety, maintenance of Remote Engagement Target Systems (RETS), range equipment, heavy equipment and facilities maintenance. Approves draft training / target presentation scenarios and programs, or supervised programming of the RETS computer system to provide the required support. Develops and presents briefings to visiting dignitaries to include General Officers, political figures, senior commanders and using units on the configuration, capability and use of the MPRC, range safety requirements and range standard operating procedures and requirements.
What we are looking for:
Must possess or be able to obtain the required security clearance for classified information.
As a condition of employment must have completed , or complete within six months of selection and/or hire the applicable scenario programmer and targetry equipment maintenance courses.
Working knowledge of US Army regulations regarding safety in live fire operations, the doctrinally correct weapons firing procedures and the existing Camp Atterbury Range Regulations.
Knowledge of directed requirements for the necessary Render Safe Procedures (RSP) for unexploded ordinance (UXO).
Possess good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity.
Must have good red/green color discrimination.
Required to have and maintain a valid Indiana driver's license

We are seeking several Multi-Skilled Machine Repair Technicians to join our fast-paced team-focused staff in our unionized manufacturing facility.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Will be required to perform all job requirements and meet all qualifications as determined by management for an Mechanical Technician. Must be a Machine Repair or Maintenance Mechanic journeyman card holder. Perform duties under the general direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, but works independently to perform installation, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting , repair, and/or design modification
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines routine maintenance inspections and planned overhauls for equipment based on frequencies, cycle counts or run hours to attain world class performance.
Performs preventive, predictive and pre-emptive maintenance and routine inspections.
Provides operational support assistance to engineers and operations.
Specifies, organizes and maintains adequate spare parts to support the asset base.
Participate in the development of project scopes, design of systems, and functional specifications.
Performs additional duties as assigned by Management or Team Leader(s).
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Must hold a Journeyman Card within Machine Repair or Maintenance Mechanic Trade.
Job requires computer or other technical knowledge to be successful. Performs transactions and/or records information in a computer.
High School Diploma or GED required as well as other trainings.
EXPERIENCE:
- 4-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- CMMS system experience preferred.

Ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
Effective reading, writing, communication, and computer skills.
Sound problem solving skills both in an individual and group.
Proficient in troubleshooting.

Job Description:
Shift: Primarily 1st shift, some off-shift required. (off-shift approximately up to 25% of the time)
Title of Person this position reports to: NPD/Product Design Manager
Position Purpose:
With minimal supervision, individual to be responsible for the manufacturing and assisting with documentation of new product development of R& D projects through the NPD rapid prototype. Responsibilities include meticulous analysis and oversight of product quality level through detailed tool life and tool wear studies. Heading machine operator position involves learning to perform the operation and basic set-ups of manufacturing equipment under appropriate supervision, exclusively: 100 Tons, 53 Formax, 89 National and 4-die/4 blow National and Carlo Salvi 5 & 6 Die Hdr)
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with coordinate manufacturing activities through NPD rapid prototype
Assist engineering, tooling, manufacturing, and quality in the development of new product
Assists with developing and document detailed tool life studies
Assists in the documentation of tool preparation and setup procedures required for sound manufacturing practices
Assists in the documentation of product run attributes for internal confidential specifications of both product and manufacturing tooling in preparation of licensing support
Assist in the development of new manufacturing technologies
Assist and trouble shoot difficult running product for the global manufacturing group
Assist in initiating process changes to enhance manufacturing performance and efficiency
Knowledge, Experience or Behavior Required:
High School diploma or GED.
Thorough knowledge of the Stanley Engineered Fastening manufacturing process with a primary focus on cold formed single and multi-die heading.
Thorough understanding of company quality requirements.
Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
A good working knowledge of various materials (e.g. low carbon & alloy steels, stainless steels, etc.)
The ability to analyze, interpret, and understand test results to assist further product development.
Knowledge of ISO14001/TS16949 and its requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Machine Operator - 2Nd Shift (Doering A Wilson Tool Company)
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Machine parts which have multiple features.
- Operate a variety of machine types or multiple non-complex machines at a time.
- Maintain an existing process which would include but not limited to: offset machine tools, change tooling as required, load material.
- Monitor machine performance to ensure that product quality and specifications are achieved.
- Inspect completed work independently using advanced measurement / inspection tools.
- Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
- Monitor SPC data / trends to ensure process control.
- Prepare future jobs while machines are manufacturing product.
- Ability to train new operators.
- Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, bench operations and inspect.
- Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.

Job Description:
General Responsibilities:
Perform duties involved in setting up and operating automatic blanking, heat treat forming and robotic tig welding of various size holesaws
Duties:
Work from priorities provided, travelers, written or verbal instructions. Setup robotic and semi auto tig welders of various size. Load shell & cups onto robotic pallet or manually load into tig welder chuck. Start automatic cycle to weld. Visually inspect each saw for quality of weld. Adjust speed, length and position of stroke, seam current and cup current for proper heat. Position welding head and change tungsten tips as required using setting gauge according to established procedure. Rework or scrap any saw found to be out of spec
Check the quality of each holesaw for total roundness, weld height, weld penetration
Degrease cup when necessary working from travelers and record data according to established procedure.
Maintain equipment and work area in a neat and clean condition. Report any discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, defective material or other unusual situations to the Foreman.
Observe and obey all safety rules, regulations and practices and employ all safety equipment and devices.
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
Climate:
Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands and changing priorities.

JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Processor in the Department is key in assisting with meeting the department's goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Slitting Machine Operator is responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width with measuring devices
Requires set up of the Z-Mill including interpreting process sheets and setting machine parameters
Responsible for operating the machine while adhering to safety requirements, quality parameters and in-process checks
Make mechanical adjustments as needed
Performs data entry into the SAP software system
Maintains a clean work area
Operate lifting devices as trained by Materion Safety
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Have at least a High School diploma or GED
At least 1-3+ years of previous manufacturing experience required
Experience with performing multiple complex set ups preferred
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and/or instructions
Ability to understand and perform basic math working with decimals
Must have some mechanical interest and aptitude
Interest in developing a craftsmanship career
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Technical training is preferred but not required
Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred but not required
Experience operating a Slitting Machine preferred
