Machine Operator - Nail Department
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machines within the Nail department and meeting the quality standards provided by Simpson Strong Tie.
50% of the time you will: Observe production, perform quality checks every 10-15 min. and record critical dimensions on production reports.
20% of the time you will: Keep track of production output on production boards at machines and poundage consumed.
15% of the time you will: Observe the flow of nail production and highlight problems to supervisor/setter immediately.
10% of the time you will: Move completed parts to next staging area.
5% of the time you will: Clean machine at the end of production run and prep for next work order.

Drawings and measurements: Ability to read basic drawings and use calipers to check dimensions of parts produced

Duties & Responsibilities
Greets guests in a timely and friendly fashion and ensures guests are comfortable throughout their LifeSpa experience
Demonstrates exceptional customer service to exceed guest expectations
Provides various nail care services, including natural nail manicures, pedicures and paraffin treatments
Educates guests in recommended retail products to continue homecare
Consistently increases guest retention by building relationships and pre-booking
Drives service and retail awareness through LifeSpa designed promotions and events
Proactively develops new clientele while building current guests relationships
Participates in promoting self to build business with club interaction and referral program to educate members about hair benefits and to build clientele
Is responsible for living the Life Time Mission, Vision and Core Values
LifeSpa offers a selection of product lines for their guests: (varies by location)
o Hair: Wella Color, Aveda, Moroccan Oil, Bumble & Bumble, Kerastase
o Body: Bon Vital, Bio Freeze
o Skin: Vivier, Skin Medica, iS Clinical, Mio
o Nails: Spa Ritual, CND
1-2 years of Nail experience preferred
Has strong professional presentation, technical ability and relationship building
Actively participates in advance training or ongoing education in specific skill trade at Life Time
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
Follows all state cosmetology/salon/spa regulations: cleanliness and sanitation
Appropriate State/County/City Nails License
